At 30 years old this is a very pivotal time in his life, where the right people matter to make the right decisions. RM has had to walk on eggshells his entire career and at some point you start to not care what people think about your art. That is why it is so important to have the right people around you to guide you through the anger and frustration seeping through the cracks. You have every right to be disappointed, but we all meet our breaking point. The difference is we had someone there to smack us in the back of the head. I've been an army since 2015 and my bias was Kim namjoon (RM) and ever since this incident happened and he came live just to say he is 30 and etc and still didnt apologize for his actions 😣 He didn't do it on purpose but he is a celebrity there are many people who are influenced by him so when he post a story like that in which it clearly is an anti Islamic lyrics so he should know what he is posting before doing it And as a Muslim myself I felt really bad for being an army and the way how he reacted to his own action. Even though he didn't do it on purpose still we want him to apologise

@dectiverandom2371 I agree to an extent, but I don't see RM as any different just from this. Maybe his response was out of frustration because of how ruthless ARMY can be at times. Maybe he was getting slammed for it and he got tired of it. He said it's his truth because it's his song, his art that he worked so hard for. Everyone by now should know he wouldn't ever insult someone's religion. He's not apologizing because it was not his intent and its not his fault if people took it as offensive. I see what he's saying. It's up to everyone else to try and understand where he's coming from rather than see him as insensitive.

I don't blame him for his attitude some of his muslim fans supported him and made excuses for him instead of telling him that he was wrong and that the song that he has shared insulted them as muslims..even if you like someone you should not accept his insults even if it wasn't intentionally, you should tell them that they've hurt your feelings..
@kuklasong522011 ай бұрын
Here's the thing, as a non muslim I think one has to understand that if you bump into someone ACCIDENTALLY and cause them to fall and get hurt, then even if it wasn't your intentions to hurt them, you still should apologise for unintentionally being the cause of that hurt. Real Armies knew from the beginning he didn't intend to insult any religion, and probably just shared the song without paying attention to the lyrics, but the hurt was caused because when they opened his story they were greeted with such a negative song, fans don't wish to open the insta story of someone they look up to only to find a song that insult the belief they have. So that's why he should've apologised, because that's what the armies wanted, an apology for accidentally bumping into them and making them fall. This is not an "apologise cause you looked at a girl" or "apologise cause you dare fall in love when we fans are here" typa situation, it's a situation where he accidentally shared a song which insults the belief of another person.
@kysr734211 ай бұрын
I don't really think that he didn't pay attention. He's famous and he should know this would be a problem. You just can't share a song just for the music at the back even if you're not famous. I'm a Christian, not a Muslim, and it's disheartening to see some people equate being grown up with being carefree and insensitive. The recent example with Jungkook and the cigarette issue, where some defend his choices by saying he's a grown man, raises questions about today's definition of maturity. I respect personal choices, but I believe maturity isn't about knowingly harming your health. While we all have the freedom to make choices, not every choice aligns with what's right. It seems like our world is shifting in a concerning direction when it comes to values and perspectives. True maturity involves making decisions that consider your well-being, whether it's related to health or life choices, without external pressures. It's essential to differentiate between being knowledgeable from books and being truly wise. A high IQ doesn't necessarily equate to wisdom. Do you realize that even when your actions unintentionally hurt someone's feelings, offering an apology is a true indicator of maturity? Of being humble? However, if you refuse to apologize simply because it wasn't your intention to offend or harm someone, that's a sign of pride. No one likes to be wrongly accused and most people certainly don’t want to apologize for something they didn’t do. The thought of apologizing when we’ve done nothing wrong, or even worse when we’re actually in the right, causes our blood to boil. We become indignant, defensive, or lash out at others, none of which does anything to improve the situation. However, there is a time and place for apologizing even if you’re not guilty. It’s important to remember that apologizing is not an admission of guilt; it’s an admission of responsibility. You are taking responsibility for improving and moving past the situation at hand. Maybe not be considered as having too much pride" but rather you would be considered as being an unfeeling and unreasonable blockhead. The reason is simple: If "you hurt her/their feelings" it is your responsibility to properly apologize for having done so. Even if you did not intend to hurt their feelings it is not just a matter of courtesy to apologize but also a matter of empathy. By uttering an apology you display certain qualities of character that you do NOT display if you can't bring yourself to an excuse. These qualities are good manners, empathy and respect.
