I’m so impressed with how you are open to different songs with other languages and deep analytical mind. We need more young mind like you.

here is what joon said about this song: "The spectacle of 'flowerworks,' though, is simpler and more anonymous. I think of a field with tons of wildflowers that you don’t even know the names of. You just hold the flowers and throw them into the sky, and they come down so suddenly, maybe after five seconds,' he said, an edge of wonder in his voice. 'I want to have a life like more of a wildflower.'" i listened to this at 5 am, just a couple hours after it came out, and when i tell you i cried lke a baby lol. not only are the lyrics so beatiful -and relatable, to be honest- but knowing everything he went through to get where he is just made it hit that much harder. joon was around 18/19 when bts debuted back in 2013, he was so young and already had the responsability to carry and lead a whole group of people so different from each other (suga has said that that is rm's talent, bringing different people together), and on top of that deal with the mistreatment bts as whole faced back then. people used to see him as this "problematic" teenager, which he wasnt btw, he wasjust raw and kinda unfiltered you know?! he wasnt afraid of criticizing society and its many problems -he still isnt. the thing is, he is not that rebel teen anymore, he grew up to be a mature and wise adult, that still speaks about all these things but in a different way, something you see very clearly in this album. back in june, when bts said they would be taking a break from doing group music, rm explained that they were experiencing artist burn out, and that was one of the reasons for the break (now we also now it's because of the military). they said they had been feeling that way since 2019/2020 and that's when armys realised "black swan" wanst about this hypotetical scenario of losing passion for your art, but it was something they had been experiencing for years, which completely broke our hearts. i think this song completely encapsulates all of that, all of these years of hard work that turned into artist's burn out, not to mention they got really really big back when the pandemic hit, and for someone who just wants a quiet and peacefull life, suddenly being in the spotlight not only of your country, but the world as a whole. must have been really difficult. i cant imagine that. bts has always been super raw and honest about their feelings, and that is why we love them sm hehe. the whole album is incredibly introspective and i think you are ganna enjoy it a lot. its so real and honest it felt like i was reading his diary when i listed to it for the first time. you should check out his solo mixtape from 2018 as well, its called mono and it feels like a hug when you listen to it (literally 3 out of my 5 most listened songs were from that mixtape lol). once you dive in to all the members solos you are gonna see how much more real and raw they can get as well, so.. yea. im sorry about the essay haha, but joon is my bias (along with yoongi/suga) so i get very very passionate lol glad you are back!!! (english is a second language for me, so i apologize for any mistakes :))

thank you so much for the info!! i really love how he adapted firework to flowerworks bc that metaphor makes so much sense for what he's expressing in this song. i totally understand your emotion and passion, trust me you never have to apologize for being passionate about music and the artists you love on my channel, i cry about music every day haha (including this song now!) it's actually kinda funny how learning about namjoon and the way he feels through this song has hit me so hard. maybe because i've known of BTS for so long, and with how big they are, they were more like a mysterious phenomenon than actual people in my head. so hearing a song like this that i relate to so much from the leader of that phenomenon really makes me realize how devastatingly human they are. that someone so successful and loved by so many people can feel like i do still really gets me. obviously you guys already know all of this, but it's all new to me in a way lmao. didn't really mean to write this essay of a reply but oh well. thank you again for taking the time to comment, and believe me your english is great, better than a lot of native speakers haha

@@jamielynnreacts we definitely understand. I became ARMY in 2020 and it was the exact realization that you're going through now that sealed the deal on that. All 7 of them are like this. I respect that not everyone likes BTS and not everyone will be ARMY but at the same time I don't know that i will ever fully understand how you could dislike them once you really get to know them.

Wild Flower is essentially a song of RM bringing out all the feelings he's been holding in for a long time. During the 2022 Festa where the group announced their break from group music, RM mentioned how due to the idol system and the way it works, there's no time for idols to develop themselves individually. So for a group like BTS who is just constantly working and having so many things coming at them at once (the White House visit, being invited to Western award shows, etc), the group felt that they just melded into one entity rather than feeling like 7 individual artists contained within one group. Their stuff from 2020 to the Festa (think it was August), the group was just going with the flow and never really planned it all to happened perhaps even thought about it. RM would then go on to say that after Butter, he didn't know what kind of group BTS is anymore. Who he is. Who the others are. So they're all now just on their own routes to develop themselves fully to makeup for lost time, so when they all get back together (HYBE predicts 2025 since that's the possible time all their military services will be done) they will even better than ever. So with his solo album Indigo, RM finally lets it all out and does what he's always wanted for years. I think we do see visual representation of that in the Wild Flower Mv As well. Specifically him in the field of flowers; like he's finally at peace with himself

So well said! I couldn’t tell at all that English is your second language. You’re better writing in English than most people who speak english. I agree with you on all points. I love BTS and Namjoon. The relationship between them and army really is special and different from other artist and fan relationships. When they hurt we hurt and when they are happy we are happy. It’s so extraordinary. 💜

I love that RM is using music as a form of therapy. Even though I don't know him personally I always shudder at the responsbilities he has to take on both as an artist and leder of a famous group before he was even age 25. The toll that takes on anyone both mentally and physically is scary, to say the least, yet he has taken it on boldly. But remember strong people need breaks too. A place to crash land and rejuvenate.💙💙💙 beautiful soul felt lyrics g8 job kiddo.

NGL Indigo is a great album, but I don't feel the connection with the other songs as I have with this one. This, imo, is RM's best work. I like most songs on this album but some of them are just meh for me. Also, if you have time, you should check out RM and Suga interview (kinda) on shechwita.
