As cool as this looks, I'd hate to see Beast converted. The fact that it has held the record for 42 years for longest wooden coaster is cool AF. HOWEVER, it definitely needs to be re-tracked cuz it's painfully rough. Still holds up after all these years but it's so rough. I'd rather see them just take it out of svc for a season to re-track it than to do a hybrid conversion.

Yeah I would much rather see a ground up in vortex plot of land, it could still have terrain elements and much better ones than in this video I would feel, with how drawn out the beast is it would almost be impossible to make an RMC that is terrain based without sparing with lift hill heights, I absolutely love the beast though and would be EXTREMELY PISSED if they RMC’d it

I have mixed feelings. I love the ride as is, but I can see why a lot of people don't. Pretty much every time I ride it somebody on the train mentions how rough it is while we're getting off. Eventually it's roughness will affect it's lines. I would rather see it RMCd than see it with a station wait every day.

LEGEND needs RMC'd so bad I can't stand it. It used to be one of my fav's but in recent years it has gotten really rough. Even the GCI retrack hasn't done much good for it. I stand by this though, Legend was a TOP TEIR coaster. It was forceful, it has great pops of ejector and don't even get me started on the night ride. I would absolutely love for this to happen

Toro's essentially already RMC. It was made by Intamin, but Alan Schilke worked on the design and RMC actually put it up.

@@theplanespotter2849 It's very, very different from almost all other wood coasters, though. On normal wooden coasters, the track is built up layer by layer by hand directly on the structure, then shaped to fit the gauge of the train's wheels. This is inherently imprecise, and gives woodies their characteristic roughness. El Toro is what's called a prefabricated wooden coaster, where the track is manufactured in a factory in large sections, made of many thin layers of wood glued together, and laser cut into the exact shape specified by the CAD design files. It then just bolts onto the support structure and the adjoining track sections. Essentially, this is applying the manufacturing process used for steel coaster track, to wood. The result of this is that it doesn't even feel like a wooden coaster, it rides just as smoothly as a steel coaster... at least at first. The track will still inevitably wear out, making it rougher. This is where the disadvantage comes in, replacing the prefabricated track sections is much more expensive than maintaining traditional wooden track. And this in turn is why prefabricated wood coasters never caught on, with only four being built. The first one, Colossos, underwent a complete retracking that took from 2016 to 2019. Since Six Flags wanted to prevent this from happening, they built what's essentially their own prefabricated track factory. This has allowed them to manufacture and replace track sections as needed, rather than having to order them from Intamin and wait for them to be made and shipped over from Germany. This investment means that "RMCing" El Toro would be an absolute last resort.

It does look a little short but it uses 0.5 g's less of deceleration force than Zadra does on its final brakes

I think this layout is quite reasonable and honestly very good. The only thing I’d expect to be different is that there would be a longer break run as to allow 3 train operations. If a ride got built and with two launches was capable of a decent capacity, I’m sure the park would run 3 trains and not just two. Or else that line would constantly be 2 hours.

I wonder when will RMC have the balls to do an inverted hybrid coaster?😄 I would first imagine them making a hybrid floorless coaster, then a hybrid winged coaster, then a hybrid inverted coaster, then a hybrid flying coaster and finally a hybrid 4D coaster😂 Maybe even a freespin hybrid coaster with a regular track layoyt in 3 dimensions and not just like a Intamin zacspin and the freespin coaster that are only going in 2 dimensions. Either up or down / forward or backward.

I really appreciate the beast, and what it has done to allow us to experience some of the best wooden coasters ever built, but I really hate the Beast. It's so rough that it's not even bearable. I feel like I get a whole chiropractic adjustment every time I ride it. It's so boring through the first half. Other than the helix after the second drop I just feel like it does nothing. I get that we wouldn't have the rides we have now if it weren't for the Beast but something needs to be done. KI is my home park and I would love to see it be RMC'd I know that is really controversial but it really sucks.

3 that would be really cool RMC conversions would be the Voyage, but like the beast I think it's too iconic to be converted. Then the 2 others I think would be really cool are Thunderbird at Powerland, Finland and Vuoristorata (Translated to english it means literally Roller coaster:D) at Linnanmäki, Finland. Could you guess where I am from with my suggestions?😄 But Vuoristorata is also too iconic for an RMC conversion. I would argue that in the grand scheme of preserving some coaster, Vuoristorata is even more iconic than The Beast, because it is the only remaining roller coaster out of 2 with a brakeman with the other being in Denmark I think. It is THE MOST wanted job at Linnanmäki, because you get ride a roller coaster all day, (Even thought that sounds fun I think it inevitably becomes boring/annoying going the same layout for hours and for a few months almost everyday😅) you get to decide how fast the ride is going, you get literal standing airtime without restraints in few moments at the ride and the brakeman is at the back of the train so he/she gets the most airtime😂 I think the only thing keeping them in the train is themselves, (using the brake enough) a rope and I highly suspect they have a rail or something to hold on to:D Thunderbird at Powerland is a really great canditate for an RMC conversion. I think it's starting to be like 15 years old, it's made By GCI or the other famous wooden coaster manufacturer. (CCI? Could someone comment what it is I don't remember what it is:D) I think it would be actually the best next big investemnt for PowerPark/Powerland, because then they would start getting more of coaster enthusiasts from around the world, as they would start having a pretty sick coaster lineup. Junker, RMC converted Thunderbird, (It's like 20m-25m tall now, so I think they should add atleast 10m to it and make it like 500m longer.) Pitts special, Cobra, which is just a regular Cobra desing, with the layout first going forwards a cobra roll, then a loop, lift hill and then going backwards the layout. Then atleast 2 family coasters, one being a spinning wild mouse, which is pretty fun actually and some kiddie coasters. They also have literally a killer flat ride "menu" and what I mean by "literally killer" is that in one of the flat rides the ride operator jumped to retrieve something while the ride was going full speed and died😅 But yea they really have an awesome selection of flat rides and it's very inclusive to everyone. There's many kiddie flat rides, family flat rides and atleast 4 very thrilling flat rides! Also most of the tourists that come to Finland stay in Helsinki or go to Lapland and coaster enthusiasts around the world would like to visit Linnanmäki for Taiga, which is a world-class coaster and for it's very unique coaster lineup, but if Thunderbird would be converted to a RMC many more would come to Powerland too, not just Linnanmäki!

While this ride seems like an absolute feverdream, I don’t see it becoming reality. For one, I don’t think rmc will ever (or atleast in any of the coming years) be putting a launch in the middle of a ride. They had quite some struggles with Lightning rod and seeing they haven’t made any launched rmc’s since i don’t think they’ve made lots of steps in improving the technology yet. Having the launch malfunction with no way to get the trains back to the station/maintenance bay would not be a great idea.
