I commend Gina Prince-Bythewood for fighting for her vision. Gina Prince-Bythewood also wrote and directed “Love and Basketball”, and “The Secret Life of the Bees”. I absolutely loved the movie "Beyond the Lights". It was simply amazing! The script was well written and the directing was on point. The acting was "flawless'.

She thought the high celebrity life and perks was the pinnacle but overlooked any problems her daughter faced along the way. She really loved her but thought that keeping her going was the best option, she was wrong but she loved her daughter more than anything
