Ive been to a bunker in northern BC were they use a military howitzer to shoot at the mountains to cause avalanches. That was cool! The shells were 10 times the size though and super heavy!

+Lucas Lu they cause the avalanche to happen so that the heavy snow is pushed down the hill when the highway is closed, as supposed to letting it occur naturally and potentially burying people down in the valley.
