The staff lunch room in domestic has RATS!! No matter which company, the staff areas are usually dirty and unmaintained. The problem is, YVR focused most of the fundings to make the pretty appearance to travelers, while it's pretty much rotten inside.

Here’s a funny story: I was travelling in Thailand and I was returning to Vancouver island for the Summer as I live in Nanaimo. After I left YVR I headed to the harbour air terminal. While in the taxi, I discovered that rick mercer was doing a show at the port theatre. I was getting on the plane and I see him sitting in the back of the plane. He said hello and I just sort nodded, then when I sat in the front talking to the pilot I was just sort of like: “ that’s Rick Mercer! that’s Rick Mercer!”

A big part of the pride parade is squirting water guns at each other in jest, as the parade often involves standing in the hot sun for 3 hours at the peak of summer (in Toronto at least).
