⁠​⁠@@Kendrickdeewave-mj1cxListen to your delay throws on the sides only to adjust the volume of the effect. It allows you to hear where that delay might be clashing with other parts of the mix as well.

@@Kendrickdeewave-mj1cx typically I use brainworkx meter plugin and solo the sides ..just to hear the side information . Use a plugin where you can only hear the side or the mids . Do this in the mixing stage and mess with the volume/delay/reverb and test out what you like basically .

FL studio's precomputed amp knob is a simple volume knob. It doesn't add any THD or effects. They just enjoyed going over 0db.

A lot of fl users use the clipper or limiter. So they are driving into it. For what ever reason alot of a FL aren’t “technically sound” and don’t explain what they are really doing clearly

I know a lot is to do with the limiter on master people don’t notice but I have also heard theories of it being the algorithm and the way the daw is coded also🤷‍♂️

George, you have such great content and I appreciate your videos. As someone who has a KZbin channel dedicated to audio, it’s puzzling to me that you spend so little time on your own. Would it kill you to buy and actual mic and maybe use some compression on your voice when you upload your videos? I often find you are so much quieter than the rest of the material. Even the guest in this episode was like 6dB louder than you. I think it would go a long way for you to to invest a bit into your sound like you do with your video editing. Ok I’m out. That never clicked for me but yea kinda bizarre, I mean I wouldn’t expect a nice camera but, and people say get a mic it’s only a couple hundred bucks but these days with a little know how you can have very clean audio with a $50 dollar mic and 20$ interface, actually for my phone I use a straight up 8$ XLR to double 1/8” Male and female cord straight into my phone, (2nd 1/8” allows even monitoring!) sounds solid and about as convenient as it gets
