@@incription RNG manipulation won't work in 1.13+ but in those versions a new farm concept even faster is possible: light update suppression. With the light processing being moved to a different thread you can create portal blocks with no light and spawn mobs directly inside them.

ok, just to try and make sense of this: by loading a new chunk within a certain mansion-reagion (18x18 chunks), the world rng is set to a specific value that corresponds to that region. this value is then used for the next "event" that uses the world rng, mob spawning beeing one of them. if you know the seed and the world-rng as well as the player position, you can determine position and mob-type for each successive spawning attempt. in the case of your farm, the witches are able to spawn because the platform above was obscuring the light (since you had the night-vision effect active, it seemed a bit mysterious that the witches kept spawning on "illuminated" blocks). since a new chunk is loaded every gametick and the rng "reset", the came will attempt to spawn the same mobs at the same positions every tick, unless the mobcap is filled. the chunkloader needs to synced with the autosave interval, since the autosave unloads chunks that are too far from the player(render distance), which would break the chunkloading chain. did i get that right? i think this is pretty much impossible to set up without using these tools to calculate all those coordinates... btw, wont you run out of shulker-boxes pretty quickly? oh wait, you have the "ShulkerShellShucker", nevermind...

Chunk loaders got patched in 1.14, and over half of SciCraft relies on chunk loaders in some way either by the dummy chunk machine, or transportation, etc, so over half would either be unreliable or flat out unusable.

I’ve been looking for a way to manipulate RNG on the bedrock edition, though the first problem I encountered was having to remotely load chunks. Do you know anyone who might have useful information about chunk loading in the bedrock edition? Other than that, great video! Very interesting (as always with these RNG videos). Hope to see more of this in the future.

I don't think RNG can be manipulated in bedrock. This bug only exists because of ill coded structures that was also removed in 1.13. Bedrock seams to have a totally different chunk loading system.

There is no way to do that. The loot tables of the individual armor and drops from mobs are all based on entity RNG that can't be manipulated. It is however possible to just farm the heck out of them to get the loot.

A mob farm advancer? it's almost to complicated to do advancers when talking about hoppers loading chunks. There are instances it can be used in weather machines but that's something earthcomputer will probably make a video on. The lightning and iron golem farms can be manipulated with advancers but I think earth is on that too. We have to go bug him till he makes the vids :).

@@LKFAdam this type of manipulation was related to an exploit that was pached out of the game by the devs by acident and some of us have tried to make a similar 13 setup for it. But its totally not worth the effort given the results are bizmal compared to the effort needed to predict even a single mob spawn for 1 gametick and have a very hard time manipulating its spawn.

The amazing thing is there will never be a patch for this exploit of RNG because computers generating completely random outcomes is just impossible, there's always a method to madness as i say. Sad that this setup wont work But if someone has the knowledge and time they can do it in any version of the game.
