Not totally gone poppy, gnar, trundle, etc are still strong plus the Tank meta was 100% better than the assassin meta or the 1 shot die metaq as it used to be or the don't go in that tribrush meta

hope soaz was here his diversity on top lane champs and different styles would have made a huge advantage against the 3 top laners that are being played (kennen rumble and jayce )

the best top picks atm are gnar/rumble/kennen and best mid are syndra/vlad/cassiopeia, I think Jayce is bad at teamfighting , really dont like the poke comp too

support is nami and ali and braum + karma but karmas lock up isnt good takes too long to stun. your basically a ward and shield post 20mins

problem with top % games the only really interesting game with worlds so far. was RNG vs SPY. it was a true example of top tier play, rather than just top tier picks.

Jayce is a bad pick compares to other top lane champion on impact to the game. I think the Lucian pick would have been better than Caitlyn because the other team has so much speed

Sure, pick Lucian into a team that can completely out range you and burst you before you can do anything. Caitlyn was the safer pick and the better lane bully. The difference in this game was made by Ambition, not letting Mlxg use that Nidalee properly, getting that first kill bottom, knowing that RNG is bottom lane focused, then Mlxg got greedy for a kill, dove under turret, giving another kill over to SSG, burning his flash. As for Jayce he fits the team comp that RNG drafted, which was a poke-siege comp. Sadly RNG are more known for their good engage team fighting comps, which is something they were forced to stay away from, because of the immense amount of CC and counter engaging potential SSG had in their comp.

Mark Yang Not really. SSG didn't take away anything from RNG. Maybe Lee from Mlxb, but you can still have the same pressure in lanes with Nidalee and faster clear. The BP was pretty standard. If anything RNG did the target banning.

I agree with MrFrotier... SSG; it is their first time at international stage and they aren't used to the bo1 format. Heck, even in LCK, they would lose their first game, and end up winning the other 2. RNG, on the other hand, has past experience in bo1 format (mostly, their players). Honestly TSM won against SSG on D2 due to their lack of experience in a best of 1 series. You fuck up once and its GAME OVER. That's why, bo1 format sucks. :/
