It's an Atoto (or similar) rebranded. I paid £200, currently on sale for £150. You can't get a big brand android auto for that money but you can find an Atoto one. This is Linux based, so slower and very unlikely to be updated, unlike Android based ones. It does come with DAB but the software interface is terrible and completely disconnected when you plug Android Auto into it. Android based radios at least have an app to control external DAB USB dongle but I didn't know that before. So as a first radio for a little car is ok but next time I'll go straight for Chinese Android based ones.

You can get non copyright music on the you tube music library that will give you no copyright the you tube music library is free of copyright

So pleased I found your video as was thinking of getting this unit for my 2007 Polo, which looks very similar to yours. I notice it didn’t.t fit well - do you know any stereo with apple carplay that fits better?

Have a look at the Pioneer or Kenwood range, I only do electrical work on vehicles so your best to consult your local retailer for model advice.

You'll need to buy the installation kit for your make of car. £80 from Halfords.

Hi. Do you have any idea how to connect reversing camera on Hyundai IX20 2017. I have bought connect2vision retention lead but I haven’t manage to make it work, even tho they assured me it will work. Camera is factory installed. Should I just buy replacement reversing camera? Thanks in advance.

the actual head unit has a slot on the back for a reverse camera, you tried plugging it in there ? should work I think

@@Rat-636 Eventually I did manage to make it work. It was necessary to bring one wire from trunk.(Reverse trigger). I plugged Connect2Vision adapter to original wire connector (red wire to reverse orange wire on head unit and reverse trigger from back of the car.(reverse light) Now it’s all good, working like it’s supposed to be.

Hi mate Great review of this stereo. I got it a few weeks back got it fitted from halfords. But they cant get the steering control's working in my hyundai i10 2017 any help man? is yours working?

Halfords deal with Connects2 for steering controls and as you have rightly been told they or any other company for that matter don’t do control interfaces for Road Angle products. As for mine working, I don’t own all these vehicles I simply used to work in the trade fitting them. My advice would be to contact Road Angle to see if they have released a steering control interface yet.

Hello there I have this device installed and it keeps coming up as No signal but previously it was all working fine for the 1st 2 days and after that having the no signal issue like the device turns on and phone gets connected but on the screen it shows no signal but my music is playing even though it doesn't show on screen

1. If it’s just the DAB signal then you have either a faulty antenna or the connection is loose. 2. If it’s Bluetooth signal then you have a faulty radio. In either case consult your retailer.

@PJsprojects ok thanks snd I'm not sure what one it is as it just goes black and then a white screen and after 2 seconds it comes up as No signal and I got it from halfords but they just say as we didn't install it we can't help go to road angel

@@TsxGamingHDgamers In that case take it back to the installer or if it was a diy job remove it,repack it and take it back to Halfords as faulty. They have a one year warranty.

@@PJsprojects oh your joking ive just ordered a lead on the internet and it is advertised as a road angel one, is this false? I also come accross a road angel site which had instructions advisinf ct2 or ct5 would work

@@adamdevereux328 well I didn’t deal with all the cable suppliers, only the big ones like Connects 2 and Armour Automotive so maybe something is available via a third party now days.

@@PJsprojects ah right ok. Fingers crossed this works. I was advised when i did the install a year ago that a pioneer woukd work but i bought it and it wouldnt. Upto now ive tried the universal one and the pioneer one with no luck. Its so annoying having the stalks and not being able to use them. I am not really wire savvy so be interesting to see if i can crack this or f*** it up😂

In your video intro it's called RA X712. I can only find the RA 721

As an audio tech for a well known company i can say fit and finnish and actually build quality on road angel head units is crap

Cheap and nasty. First one I got had a broken plug, exchanged for another one Dab did not work. Took it back payed a bit extra swapped for a Pioneer. So much better.
