Those who are calling for Ramaphosa to intervene have no idea of the nature of impasse in Mozambique. This is not a matter for economists, so businesspeople will have to chill a little and marvel as the people of Mozambique are shaping their destiny. Mozambicans are irrevocably reconfiguring the SADC region forever. I am certain that Zimbabwe is next!

For all of you south africans wondering, allow me to enlighten you. SANDF has provided frelimo with advanced weaponry for them to use it aginst it's own people - under the disguise of fighting terrorism in Cabo Delgado. And Ramaphosa himself has provided our police with a helicopter they're using to throw tear gas over our homes. So it's incorrect that ramaphosa isn't doing anything. Since forever, ANC has chose frelimo over mozambican people, so now it's backfiring. Ramphosa's trying to cool down and getting ready to deal with our next President - Venâncio Mondlane. The conflict is costing lives beside the money. What is more important, money or lives. I thought the gist should be more on trying to save lives than infrastructure or the economy . Why is the economy more important than lives? Who does that economic growth serve? The mozambiqueans are already poor and are growing poorer. Something must come to a stop. Those who lost votes must allow those who won to move the nation foward. If it means the border must close till Mozambique sorts its issues. If this Mondlane does not command any support, where are these striking people comin from. Obvious if the incumbent could not deal with the problems that you listed the masses did not vote for them

The President cannot do anything about the Mozambique crisis, if South Africa is losing such millions so did Mozambique. The worst suffering will be Mozambique because they won't manage on its domestic products only, so,it's upon Mozambique and its citizens to turn things over or else they suffer experiencing ECONOMIC MELTDOWN. ITS GOING to be another Zimbabwean issue, where Mozambicans shall find themselves flocking in millions to South Africa and add salt to the wound that South Africa has suffered for so long. The problem is, after destroying their countries infrastructure; they won't remain in their country to fix what they had destroyed but run to South Africa to disturb our peace.
