Thanks dude, sweet that you got Harley Dave’s bike (I used to watch his RKS vids all the time). Good content so far on your channel. The passing lamps were a labor of love. HD doesn’t make the original Road King aux lamps in black. I had to get all the original Road King Standard parts (in chrome) and have them powder coated gloss black, get the led lights (from Hogworkz), then have my indy mechanic wire them into the bike. Wasn’t cheap or fast to do but totally worth it in my opinion. There are easier and less expensive ways to get passing lamps on to the Special but I wanted it to look exactly like the ones on the Road King Standard. If you want the parts list I can send you a screen shot. Let me know.

These bag bottoms are from Advanblack. I kept the original lids and just bought the bottoms for the fully extended bag look. Thanks for the comments!

Technically yes you can but being real: it's not the most comfortable seat for a passenger. When my wife rides with me I throw my Airhawk seat pad on the passenger part of the seat. Thanks for the question!

Do you know what the part number is for this one with the back rest? Is it LK-567BR? Cant decide between this one or the Le Pera Outcast seat, the low profile on the back looks awesome!

The part number for this seat is LK-557BR. This and the Outcast seat are almost identical but I believe the Outcast's overall sitting area is a bit wider than the Daytona Sport. Whichever seat you choose you won't be disappointed with Le Pera's quality and finish.

Thanks, the passing lamp housings (and mounting bar) are for the Harley Road King standard (they come in chrome only) which I had powder-coated black locally. The lights are LEDs from Hogworkz.

Yes they do. They are from Custom Dynamics and they signal and act as normal brake lights.

Sure thing. The header pipe is the Fuel Moto Jackpot 2-1-2 and the mufflers are Fuel Moto Street Outlaws. Keep in mind I also have an upgraded camshaft (S&S 465) which also gives the exhaust a distinct sound/lope.

Thanks homie and yes I'm running the Legend Axeo21 cartridges upfront and the Revo-A shocks in the rear. Just a question you got a 21 on front I go on long rides what’s the longest ride you’ve been on with the 21 is it a difference from the 16 also very nice bike

The longest trip I've been on with this 21" wheel is about 6hrs (going/returning, approx. 360+ miles). Most of these being highway miles I didn't feel any difference vs. the stock front wheel (mine came with a stock 19"). Where I do notice a slight difference is slow-speed, local riding. Roads in NJ aren't that great and the 21" does provide more feedback to the rider over small holes/cracks in the pavement/road imperfections, etc. Still for me not a deal-breaker, I don't plan on ever going back to the stock 19" front wheel. Can't say I miss it at all.

So its the stock dash. I carefully pried the aluminum dash insert off and then had the console painted at a local auto body shop (less than $100). The speedo is Dakota Digital and the black ignition switch is from J&P Cycles.

I love the seat especially with the backrest but it doesn't look ideal for 2up. I ride solo 95% of the time, haven't had a passenger yet so can't confirm.

So it's the original RKS dash. I removed the existing dash insert, its a thin metallic piece which is glued on to the center console. I carefully removed it then took the console to my local auto body who re-painted it black for $60.

The seat definitely sits me about an inch lower than the stock seat but about the same distance from the bars as stock. It also much more narrow than the stock seat, hope this helps.

It came with the seat. The seat is available with or without the backrest. The mechanism that holds the backrest is built into the seat.

I had my local indy mechanic install them and he created his own unique wiring harness. The lights come on with the ignition (no need for a separate switch as with the Road King Standard). High beams work with the stock hand controls like normal. All the parts (except the LEDs which are Hogworkz) are HD stock Road King aux light parts that I had powder coated black.
