Wrong. It all comes down to the other driver slowly inching out until they know it's completely clear. If you can't see, don't go. They could have backed up, and moved to a lane further away where they could see from. They chose to gun it and hope for the best. They were wrong.

3:02 The shopping center is a little at fault too. Why do municipalities and businesses feel the need to put bushes drivers cant see through in places where visibility is paramount? The tree is fine as long as it's kept up high enough for people to see, but if that bush isn't there this accident doesn't happen. Where I used to live they put hedges like this in all of the islands and it just made things more dangerous for everyone.

For two reasons: to stop drivers from making their own exits, and to discourage pedestrians from making safe paths through grassy areas, rather than endanger their lives by walking on the roadway.

i scrolled down to find this, because i know our ram ain't cheap, even as a business expense and we got what's called a large tradesman here only slightly customized for our needs. they cost as much, usually MORE, than some of those "nice" cars and SUVs. even my kona was over 40k, because i didn't get the base model, some of these cammers/commenters don't know how much a vehicle costs, especially brand new now. i honestly think some of them only buy used and have lost the idea of how much vehicle prices have raised in the last decade.

1:36 - When there is slow traffic, lane changes will be closer. Given the conditions, the SUV had plenty of space and properly used their signal. Cammer is upset that the SUV signaled and made a proper lane change, and wants to get himself riled up over nothing. 2:19 - Good thing you had the wherewithal to not endanger your child by participating in some road rage...oh wait, you did do that. Good thing you tapped your camera though, that'll show'em. 3:20 - A simple lane change to go around would have avoided everything. But then you wouldn't have self-made drama for YT.

Seriously, what harm could be done by letting him merge safely? Compare that to what harm could have been done by NOT letting him merge safely. Saving lives takes precedence over petty "but I'm in the right" nonsense.

I don't agree with their driving skills, but denigrating people because of their low-paying jobs is not nice at all. People do what they have to do to get by in this world, and sometimes being a few minutes late is a major problem if your boss is a real p****. There is no law that says he can't be in that lane. Maybe his exit was coming up soon, and he needed to in the left lane? A little selflessness, kindness and courtesy go a long way toward preventing fatal accidents on the highway. I know. I'm a professional driver, and I log more miles on these roadways in a week than most people do in a year. If someone wants over, assume they have a reason they need to get over and let them in front of you.
