Road Test 2014 Lincoln MKZ AWD

The code on the door saved me when I locked myself out. I remote started my Fusion, then put my coat in the car with my fob in the pocket. Somehow when I closed the passenger door to walk around to the driver's door the vehicle locked me out. I couldn't open any door or even the trunk. It was only when I put in the code that the car unlocked. So that code does serve a purpose.

I finally took delivery of a 2016 Lincoln MKZ AWD. I got the Reserve Package and Massage Seats. The car is GREAT. It's my daily commuter and I can't be happier. The 2.0 EcoBoost works incredibly well. Although it's no rocket, it'll pull right up to 60 mph in 7 secs. And it has a nice exhaust note. When you press "S", it'll respond more like a sports car. The ride quality is awesome, with "Comfort", "Normal", and "Sport" modes. The interior is very quiet. I plan on driving this car for the next 20 years.

what mpg do you get with AWD and 2.0 ecoboost?

@@samuelsmestad5583 you can get 25 combined fairly easily. If you drive more highway than city your gas mileage will be insanely good. I have an MKC 2.0 Ecoboost and when you're on the highway the instant fuel economy consistently says 40mpgs. I also owned a 2016 Lincoln mkz 3.7 and the V6 got horrible fuel economy. Like 15. No matter how I drove. lol. Strong engine but honestly the Ecoboost is just a better powertrain for power and fuel economy.

The 2015 has the thicker steering wheel very soft leather and double stitching feels really nice. The drive mode needs to be set to comfort for the nicer ride along with setting the ride to sport for the sport mode.

Good idea, buy it used.. we got a 2 yr old one with only 15k miles on it and only for $22k.. Traded in our 6 yr old MKZ with 33k miles and got $10k for it..

Own it in ice storm top trim. Its one of if not my favorite car of all time that I have personally owned. Gets me compliments all the time. The pano roof is the cats meow, that said the interior is lacking compared to Cadillac and others. Thats why ill get a Black Label next time where that is fully upgraded to leather on all the panels & more insulation. Oh and the massage seats are not rollers they are air batters, and its good but definitely no massage therapist. Don't expect to stop going to your chiropractor with this but it is a nice touch on long road trips. Ive never bought the same car twice but I would with this one and thats saying something.

AutoNetwork Just as you said it was a bit too noisy to you, I was saying wow, this is one of the most quiet cars I've ever heard. I even turned up my headphones and it was still really quiet. I wouldn't want it any quieter than this actually. Anyway, nice video, and awesome car though.

I test drove the fully loaded hybrid version of this car and absolutely loved it. It's just Lincoln didn't want to negotiate hard on this car, because its a hot seller I guess. So I decided to go with a used 2007 Lexus LS460L, and love pretty much every bit of my purchase (except for the gas mileage and it takes premium). I really like the panoramic roof on this car which was really a key selling point for me along with the layout of the interior. Oh btw I also like the exterior (except the back taillights which are hideous) cause it looks like a spaceship.

fyi- mY 2008 mkz GETS THE SAME mog AS THE 15 & 16 v6 DOES.. Some Improvement.. and I wouldn't drive one with a 4 cycl..has no passing power on the freeways.. from a 50mph + to get on the Tollway or Freeways.. Go test that yourself.

I think Cadillac looks better for me. Interior of MKZ looks like in the car for taxi - cheap looking plastics and transmission on the dash... The only thing that I dont like in CTS is lcd dash...
