Standard forehand topspin stopping the racket in front of the head is fine. Longer movements are necessary when away from the table, to generate more power because of the longer distance. This is the little I know 😊

On your forehand topspin. I wouldn't say yor arm position in the end is necessarily wrong. However you should work on your hip Rotation and weight transfer. During the topspin you should move your center of gravity from the right foot forward to the left one.

Your backhand looks really good. Do you actively use your wrist or do you let your wrist be loose while performing the backhand stoke?
@limittless.Ай бұрын
@@Osirus14 yes I use it actively, the more I use it the better the backhand usually is.

That old man really played well! If we had been 10 years younger the game would have been pretty close.
@limittless.Ай бұрын
@@tusharmaithani7174 yeah I looked him Up and he had way more points back in the days! You could really see that he still had good feeling and placement. My teammate lost 3:0 against him 😅

You said that directing your receive to the oponents forhand is not a good idea. On the contrary, I would say that a good deep receive to the oponent's forhand will probably be returned to your forhand for you to kill it.

good video, what class do you play? would your ttr points be simular to my dutch rating, i have 1160, not a beginner though....maybe a few slow mo's could be nice in your video's i like how you explain what you see of yourself, i take it as good coaching.
@limittless.Ай бұрын
@@janbalompie9844 hey, tbh I have no clue about the Dutch rating system, only now that the German one is pretty strict. I will definitely use more slow mo’s in future episodes, it makes the video way longer but definitely is the best way to point out things.
