Nour, just a tip. If you are going for 400hp on a high-mileage 435i N55 EWG, also change out the other gaskets (Valve cover gasket and BOTH OFH gaskets), the gasket where the actual thermostat is bolted on the engine block tends to leak as well. Lastly, definitely check your rod bearings, since that could still be an issue with N55. Just rock it with 5W40 and you are good to go:)

Nour. You are fearless. Taking on jobs with no experience. I don’t know how you do it. Loving the videos. Going for 400bhp myself unfortunately fired my MD80 DME yesterday. Hopefully a couple of chips just fried as it’s misfiring on cylinder 1,2,3. Mines is an E93 335i.

Sorry to tell you, although you already probably know. You didn’t replaced the oil filter housing gasket. You just replaced the oil thermostat housing gasket. In order to replace the OFHG you have to remove the intake manifold. Other than that, great video!!

Nour, I think you need to do a coolant bleed procedure after replacing an oil filter housing. Check your fluid levels.

So the m performance logos on the fenders look wild. I like them. I think you should do an oil flush and a coolant flush. When you took of the oil cooler the coolant sprayed everywhere. To be on the safe side thats what I'd do immediately. I wouldn't have even drove the car. The lower oil temp is only because of the oil cooler. I believed it allows the oil thermostat to open quicker allowing more oil to the oil cooler.

It looks like you forgot to transfer over the oil filter cage to your BMS cap? At 12:50 you can see it's still on the old cap.

hahaha I have a 2015 435i and I got the mirror caps you got and I ended up breaking my right passenger mirror as well... I couldn't find a mirror replacement for 150$ can you post the link to that as well. I also got the carbon spoiler and Valvetronic exhaust you have. You should let people know to buy an OBD2 port or whatever the wireless receiver is that connects to the phone cuz my valves were stuck closed when I installed it lol. Love the 435 content keep it up brotha

That’s the oil thermostat housing gasket not the oil filter housing gasket. You can still have a oil leak without changing the other gasket.

Be careful with that. I've read on forums that if not done according to BMW procedures, one can get an air bubble in the oil system and spin a bearing or more.

also Nour, today was the first day i really tried to push the car after installing the vrsf chargepipe, everything seemed to be in properly but when i pushed the throttle i noticed a lack of power and the car made a sound that sounded like an air compressor shooting out air.
