Good bye ROADS. I have attended since 1994 at the Marriott Hotel in Ontario. I am 73 and the show is not senior friendly. No chairs to sit “even at lunch time”. Watching people going up and down the stairs & hallways, very few look under 60. Friends I just spoke to agree 100%. Matt should attend the Overland Park regional quilt show and see “how to cater to the seniors”. Happy seniors with a little break will shop more instead of going home early. I will now only attend guild shows. Over the 29 years I have taken many , many classes at ROADS , party time the round about, lectures with Jenny Doan, Blanche Young and Jo Morton, Mary Ellen Hopkins just to name a few and stayed 3-4 days at the hotels but those days are behind me. It was fun while it lasted. I guess we all get old!
