On paper Golovkins toughest test, Maklin and Stevens are good but Geale beat Sturm in Germany, that makes him world class, or at least at the level of elite european opposition. He's big and deceptively quick and has decent power, probably more than we give him credit for, we forget this guy is a former IBF and WBA middleweight champion, with 4 succesful title defences. I still expect Golovkin to win but I would be surprised if it doesn't go to 12. Either way it's gonna be a great fight!

Gael is a tough , tough fighter and he has very good boxing skills (ranked #2 MW) but I am afraid he just does not have the firepower to stand with a Golovkin .... this is a fight where he could get hurt because of his own bravery, ref is gonna have to look out for him here I think.

I think this is a good opponent for GGG. Geale is not an elite fighter but he is a good fighter with some good wins under his belt, actually better wins than Chavez Jr. I don't think Geale will win but he might be able to test Golovkin and I see Jennings vs Perez is possibly going to be a barnburner.

The only way to beat Golovkin is to try to pull a Lara (vs. Alvarez) or a Sugar Ray Leonard (vs. Hagler). Get on your bicycle and flee, while occasionally landing pot-shots, and pray for a 12-round decision. Or, I guess you can fight like Andre Ward and try to jab and wrestle your way to victory. Hitting GGG in the head accomplishes nothing. Stevens hit him 4-5 times flush in their fight and Golovkin just stood still.
