Most of the players in BF4 are above 130 level nowadays. Feels like sbmm and iam having mild heart attack due to that. However, the game is a masterpiece.

For me what i really miss from BF4 is the defuse mode which was basically Search & Destroy. I know it wasn't popular on PC nor Xbox but there was decent amount of people playing on PlayStation. We used to have clan battles and stuff, tons of fun!

I agree. People hear BFV and think of sliding even though they added lots of other mechanics like crouch running, leaning, fortifications, and laying on your back, which are all great.

Regarding your comment on pacing, I couldn’t agree more. One way for developers to encourage better pacing and avoiding players just running straight into a bad situation, unafraid of dying, is to tie your respawn time to the amount of time in your most recent life. For example: if you were alive for 5 minutes in your last life, your time to wait for your next life is only 5 seconds. If you were only alive for a minute, then you would have to wait a minute to respawn. It could be on a sliding scale, so it’s all relative to the amount of time you were alive in your previous life. It gives actual incentive to not running callously into a bad situation.

Man, I love the way the kills felt in BF3 and BF4. It didn't have that cheap arcade feeling that I feel bf5 had a bit of and 2042 has it. I don't really know how to explain it but it felt as though the bullets just shredded through the enemies body as if they were more fragile... and the little "Enemy Killed" message was cool. It just felt more subtle and more immersive to me. 2042 almost feels like COD when you get a kill with the lame little cross coming up and the flicking/thumping noises of the bullets hitting the enemy player are too over the top and it's like YOU JUST GOT A KILL! I prefer the subtlety of BF3 and 4. Way cooler. BF3 was absolutely awesome for it's time... and BF1

Usually BF gave the impression that for the most part, it’s more of a mature realistic title. Not like cod where it’s just a bunch of kids playing. It’s a far more tactical game.
