tbh I liked the grappling more than the striking. it’s an MMA game. grappling is gonna happen regardless so the people who complain about you grappling, their input is not really relevant. but everyone is entitled to their own opinion so I can respect it. at the end of the day do what you want to do Martial. I enjoy the content and i’m gonna support regardless!

Man I legitimately never understood how some of these guys could hit rank 1. I remember in season 1 you had guys with a total of like 200 fights and 199 wins or something like that. These dudes were essentially winning like 90% of their fights. Like some of these guys play 24/7 or something. Like how tf do people have the time, man? With that ratio are you telling me these dudes were playing with certain fighters, learning their moves, going up against the AI on Legendary, etc, every. Single. Day?

It took me EA UFC 2, 3, and 4 to start learning to fake a ground transition. It’s crazy how just spending 10-15min on “Learn” section can improve so much. A lot of people don’t care about that section at all.

Ea should do something about the smurfs in the game. I get it you wanna be higher ranked and beat up some low ranked players, but it’s just not fun for the little guy. I think that you need to reach a certain lvl before you can hop on in ranked, but then again ranked is the only gamemode that’s fun to play. I’m excited about this series keep the vids coming bro!

currently in ufc 3, my ground and pound is devastating. the key is to use your entire arsenal. and go back and fourth with head and body strikes and to avoid patters. everyone i face uses the same pattern and it makes it just too easy. i hope ufc 4 isnt a problem with that

I remember when i played ufc 2, i would use khabib and stayed on the ground. it got me some pretty "nice" messages but i didn't care cuz i got the W. Moral of the story: Martial, play how you want as long as ur not cheating/cheesing if it gets you a win.

I was one of those people that always complained about the ground but once I actually sat in practice mode and learned the animations I greatly improved...I still get beat by experienced grapplers but I am much much better

I honestly have no problem with you using a guy like Edgar who's a phenomenal boxer/wrestler (well rounded in basically everything but phenom at boxing and wrestling at least in his prime BJ Penn Abu Dhabi days) in a realistic fashion.
