I'm trying to do this again because after my huge cubing break, I just had set my average for 3x3 back by about 3 or 4 seconds, and before this break I averaged about 17 seconds. The last two days I have been solving my 3x3 and 2x2 all day long. Hope to see make a road to sub 10 series. Anyway, keep up the good work.

Finally, i broke my sub 20 barrier and i came to this video which i saw before sub 20 so that i could put this comment, thanks a lot for helping me get the feeling that i am not alone, stuck in this stressful part of not improving from my current state, it gave me the boost i needed and i guess you can do that too, one bad habit i see u do is that u use the beginner algorithm for solving an f2l case where the corner is inserted (like at 0:54) I found myself doing this way back when i averaged 30 seconds, i do not recommend doing this as it slows you down instead of using the intuitive method, i would say doing the following alg with the edge above its corresponding centre : R U y' R' U R U' R U' [(y') stands for rotation to the right side]

Hi, I average sub-14 so I thought I would leave some overall feedback From what I can tell, in your F2L style, you take a corner, put it in an open slot, find the edge/take it out, pair them, then insert into the proper slot. I have never seen anything like this, but it would be more efficient to leave things in the top layer and pair it in the top layer before inserting it. You can watch “example solves for intuitive F2L” and follow along, and then do slow solves trying to use what you learned. This would be a little clunky at the start because habits are hard to break, but it will make you a lot faster. You said later in the video that you do slow solves, which is great, but without more examples, this is not as powerful. Remember that practicing is not just solves because it enforces good habits AND bad habits, so with limited time, try to make the most of it with more focused practice. I am not going to say “go learn all of OLL and PLL and then the most advanced F2L algorithms” because that is not practical, but when you do learn an algorithm, learn it right! What I mean by that is to learn to do it with the right finger tricks and full turns. Lockups are caused by incorrect finger tricks and over/underturning. The easiest way to learn them is to watch the reference video carefully for the finger tricks, and once you can do it memorized, I would recommend to do it with a metronome. Lasermonkey has a video on this that is worth watching (I assume you haven't seen it because its 6 years old), but I think it could go more into depth, so I will elaborate here: to practice it with algorithms make a turn on every beat. If you struggle, slow down the tempo until you can do a move on every beat. Repeat until confident. Then increase the tempo and repeat the process. (this is the part he left out->) If the metronome gets hard to track, divide the tempo by 2, and do 2 turns every beat, and it should feel the same as at double the tempo. I play music, so if that last part goes over your head, so be it, just watch his video and try your best. When I learn a new algorithm and do this, it improves much quicker than the other ones. Someone said something in another comment about not rotating during last layer. I agree with this. I think you should know that doing an almost rotation and looking around the cube to see the other sides for recognition, that is bad. Ideally, you would recognize by the top side and the 2 sides that face you, and just 2 sides during PLL, but you do not have to fix it consciously. I have seen much better cubers with this problem, so just be aware of it. This was probably a lot to take in, so let me know if I need to elaborate on this essay of feedback. I was very excited when I started to average sub 20, so keep it up. It is worth it!

i think your f2l just needs to improve by about a second of 2, to get to sub 20 for last layer, dont rotate at all unless its in the algorithm, you have a habit of rotating while orienting last layer edges about last layer edges, you use F R U R' U' S R U R' U' f' y, but remove the y rotation and do the inverse, its regripless(thumb for f) and for last layer algorithms, try double-flicking i watch a lot of movies, so its hard to choose but im settling with i, robot
