Road to the Kgalagadi via Van Zylsrus

Would you recomend the road Kuruman via Van Zylsrus,Ashkam to Twee Rivieren gate Also is there a campsite at Van Zylsrus and Ashkam.we booked in Kgalagadi in Augusts. We wil be toing a Conquerer comander. Thanks

Hi, we would recommend it. Also towing a Conqueror Companion, and never had issues. Close to Van Zylsrus there is a beautiful Campsite called Leeu Pan Guest Farm, and Askham also has a Caravan Park. If you need a stopover in Kuruman(close to Kuruman) then have a look at Red Sands Country Lodge. August has nice warm days, but still gets very cold at night. Very nice time to be in the Park.
