Cool to see you start over, and take another shot at the demo 😊 Currently with how AI behaves, I think that close quarter encounters are the most likely to end up by death. So when it's possible, I try to either put distance between the enemy and me, or camp for an opening, rather than pushing. One thing is especially infuriating: the playable character gets shook from being shot, enemies do not. They keep pushing, full auto, laser sight when close to the player. When they're distant, on the contrary, I find their aim quite forgiving sometimes.

Agreed. Yeah, I couldn't leave it at the walkthrough series. I enjoy this game too much! It provides lot of opportunities to demonstrate what games in this genre can and should do.

idk how this demo version is fun, but it is. literally the only other living beings in the game are traders and randomly appearing bandits, all of which dont even talk, and somehow its already more fun that most fps games i ever played

The quality of the demo makes me look forward to EA. I would like to see crouch be scrollable like in tarkov. And a free look is a necessity in these types of games. Let's look forward to more!

so between village, highway and shipyard, is there any difference in loot? I honestly feel like village has better loot, and then you just go to radar cause minefield is just 2 boxes for all the trouble with AI

I only ever find the AK-12 in the Minefield tower boxes for whatever reason. Village yields all basic items, but rarely batteries and IFAKs or MREs. Shipyard hasn’t had great loot for me, but I need to do more exploring now and at Radar. I only find the VSS in Minefield and Radar, same with the other top tier guns. I’ll have another video ready this weekend.

Well anyway, to answer your question (hopefully), Into the Radius is a VR first person shooter that's kind of like STALKER Anomaly in the sense that it's open world, but also not like it because there's no human companions or enemies. Everything you fight is a humanoid or other odd-shaped creature that was created by the "Radius" itself. It's very good, but not sure if VR is your thing or not. I do have plenty of Into the Radius videos you can check out if it sounds like an interesting concept lol.

Having no aiming dot does make it tough. also I wasted many brain cells on the tutorial figuring out the improvised cooking station.
