This was a masterpiece of a documentary and genuinely brought tears to my eyes. Extremely inspiring and motivating. I've collected Pokémon cards for about 19 years now, since I was 3 years old, and I'm only about 3 months into playing TCG. I'm so proud to be apart of this community.

Bradner going to look back on this one day and be so proud of his accomplishments. The words that were said about this young man, going through some tough losses show how great his character is. I wish you nothing but success Isaiah!

This is a great series and I really wish I had seen more things like this before I went spectate my first event which was NAIC 2023, I would have probably spent more time spectating the event and less time looking at all of the extra stuff to do at the event. And as a bummer, it won't be here in Columbus next year. Gotta figure out how to get that fix! Maybe Indy?

The thing this series skips over, and doesn't even acknowledges is the insane costs it takes to be competitive. You NEED to travel to 1 or 2 regionals every month, not to mention the international trips for the ICs.

What Stonjourner card are they talking about in what deck?
@GreenMonkeySam Жыл бұрын
Stonjourner VMAX It has 330 HP and a lot of good tools. The deck just plays the single Stonjourner out and no other Pokémon so you have to go through the massive rock instead of Gusting other 'mon out for easier KOs. With only a grass weakness, the meta had a hard time one-hit KO'ing it, and it would just heal off any damage and wall the game to victory. Some decks just could not deal with it very easily.

They forgot about something , they forget to have fun. It’s not about winning or losing it’s about having fun . This is what’s wrong with people.I play Pokémon but I don’t think winning 🏆is everything and losing it’s having fun . I rather battle for fun and collect than trade . Most of those people going back to the battle have KZbin channels and they keep getting immature and have anger issues and getting mad about fake Pokémon cards with having anger issues .I don’t want to go against people like that . This is what’s sad about people. 28 years I know Pokémon longer , a lot of dumb fools don’t know when they say I know Pokémon for 2, 3,4 ,5,and 6 years is nothing and my elder brother plays Pokémon cards and watching this for 31 years .

People can play and feel anyway they want. Some of us are way more competitive than other people. So winning is where the fun is.
@Scharrer23 Жыл бұрын
it's a competitive “sport" so to say. Of. Of course you aim to win and are not happy if you loose. There is nothing wrong about just being a Casual player without ambitious, but it's not a co-op game, the goal is to win. Heck even the anime is about a kid who wants to be the champion.
