I once had a battery explode. A very experienced colleague was standing next to it and had connected a quick starter. He got all the battery acid all over him and pieces of the battery. His face bloody and covered in battery acid. I was quick to pour water over his head, because there was always a few liters of coffee water behind my chair. A lot could have gone wrong. But I didn't see what went wrong. Just a big bang and the cabin shook. So because I don't know what went wrong, I don't feel happy about batteries. To be honest, I'm afraid of them. I've seen what it can do. I have seen this vid last year. the first time i was thinking''please dont explode''.
@RoadTrainAdventures10 ай бұрын
Wow. I've never had one explode so I'm still not worried about that happening. So you know how this happened?
@MarioVanDerMaas10 ай бұрын
@@RoadTrainAdventures No. That's the problem. It could have been anything. Perhaps the fast charger was not set correctly. I checked that later and the button was set correctly. Maybe he hadn't connected it properly to the batteries. When you charge ore fast charge a battery, gases are released, maybe he had a cigarette in his mouth, and boom. But he was a very experienced colleague, so I thought he could do no wrong. He said that he did nothing wrong and that he was not smoking. Maybe he didn't do anything wrong and a spark came from the engine that caused the gases to explode. Maybe a spark when connecting the fast charger. Then there is the question of whether it would not have happened if I had done it myself. These are all uncertainties that I cannot figure out what was wrong. Aldo i was sorry for his face. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital emergency room. I saw him later and still had some scratches in his face,but all good and would desapear. Only thing i can say is when you do a quick start,ore charge a empty battery. Dont stand next to it !. Some kind of story for Ron, @Free's Brisbane. lol
