If you travel via Bangalore - Pune - Indore you will have to pay a toll of around 2000 - 2100 , Fuel expense can be between 10k to 12k depending on which vehicle you are driving.

Blr to Hyd has good roads but Hyderabad to Indore is a long stretch, instead go via Solapur route roads are really good, take a halt in Solapur.

Hi Utkarsh and Swati...saw all the four episodes of BLR to Indore trip. Which hotel did you stay in Pune? I am planning a road trip from BLR to Indore. Also, heard that Dhule to Indore is not safe. What's your take? Your response will be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

Hello Shatanu We stayed in Holiday Inn Express at Pimpri Chinchwad Dhule to Indore is National Highway 3 which is usually safe. There is a ghat- Khalghat section midway to Indore which might get congested during night hours. Roads are really good once you enter MP so you can cruise on good speeds. We would suggest you to start early from pune and you can reach Indore in 10-11 hours with couple for stops.
