I will suggest don't drive continuously for 24 hours. Take halt, half the way in bhopal. Recently! day before yesterday I have completed my 3rd trip to UP. Weather is amazing but it's very cold. Drive safe and slow. Refere my old comment for route map, same route i have followed.

There is 6 lane roads, but don't worry about the road, roads are too good. If you are the only driver. Take rest in night and try 2 complete your journey in 2day. Enjoy the drive. For road map refere my discription. Happy journey in advance. Have safe journey.

I will be going from Allahabad to Pune in May by road. Which route do you prefer ?

From allahabad via jhablpur you will reach to dhuma from there you can either take chapara or dhanoda road, chapra road is better option, you will save on time and road is good. After that you can take Nagpur- Aurangabad route because road are good.

@@jibransid it will take 25 to 26 hours in one stretch, but short breaks are required so 28 hours with multiple short breaks. I personally avoid night driving so I don't recommend tha to you also. Try and get in, in to hotel by 7 to 8 PM on day 1.
