There's so much to react to with this week's vlog! First, I'm so sorry about Phillipe. The apartment you stayed in was gorgeous. That little chandelier over the dining table ...precious! The gardens were amazing, the tour of the town was great, and my most favorite was that gorgeous bookstore! BTW, I've read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo (fiction) and totally loved it. In fact, I read it twice: once on my own and the other time with my book club. I completely relate with what you said about being an introvert and needing time away from people to replenish yourself. I am going through a situation where I have to be "on" and chat with people and put myself out there, and it wipes me out. A good chai latte is pretty magical. Merci for the post. Wonderful as always!

I know you were there with me through the entire week and it means SO much to have your encouragement and support. Truly. Yes… Phillipe. I still can barely believe he is gone. I send messages to Lilian but they are short and don’t offer an opportunity to call on her. But I continue to try. Like you, I loved the aesthetic of the Blois apartment in the salon and dining area. Such a dream! I am thrilled that my videos and posts resonated with you during my stay there. And I cannot wait to share my work from that visit to the Loire.
