Specifics:
Distance Travelled - Around 480 KM
Time: 9 Hours (approx)
Pit Stops - 2 (approx for 10 mins each for freshening up and relaxing)
Route - Pune, Satara, Kolhapur, Nipani, Belagavi, Shirloi, ,Goa
Suggested Route - Pune, Satara, Kolhapur, Nipani, Amboli, Goa
Covid Rules (as per our travel date):
2nd vaccination is mandatory.
RT PCR is checked if vaccination is not complete.
Checking. is done both at Karnataka and Goa Border.
Checking is strict at Goa Border.

No. They did not ask for RT PCR anywhere. They just asked to show double vaccination certificates.

what about children, do they allow RAT test at Karnataka, or is it ok to travel and get it done when entering Goa

As mentioned in description, RT PCR was not checked anywhere. But I carried the reports for my kid as well. Getting it done at border may be expensive.

road via Amboli Ghat is not so great .. the ghat itself is in good condition, but the road before and after the ghat is is pathetic state

RT PCR was never checked. They just checked if vaccination was complete

Sir can we travel in afternoon from Pune to Goa How safe is amboli ghat during nyt time Or shd we stay in kolhapur nd den depart early morning for goa frm Kolhapur?

Would suggest to take a break at Kolhapur. The ghat section will be dark and lonely. And there is no mobile signal, no light, nothing for a long stretch. Its too risky.

Hey..Do we need to have gap after the second dose ? I heard that they are asking for 15 days of gap after the second dose and have to show them the RT-PCR report ? is that true ?

Yes. The 2nd dose should be 15 days before travel date. They did not ask for RT PCR anywhere. I think the RT pCR is required only if your vaccination is not complete

@@johnson996 I would suggest to carry one. I had taken 2nd shot of vaccine more. than 20 days ago, still I carried an RT PCR just in case they started asking for one. its better not to take any chance.

In case your vaccination is not complete, you. Will be required to carry a RT PCR report. Please do check the latest guidelines from government.
