Marek, just found your fantastic channel!! Have already binge-Watched a number of your videos - several of the alpin pass ones, Nurburgring and Monaco.. I think I’m not a million miles away from you (I’m in Newcastle but know N. Yorks well). We have some fantastic roads in Northumberland and Cumbria, Scottish Borders. I’ve been road tripping to Germany every couple of years (except last few years due to the pandemic) mainly to get to Frankfurt for the motor show which was every 2 years. It was only in 2015 when I drove on further (planned) to Stuttgart to go to the Porsche museum and do a factory tour. Went with a friend as my passenger. Bought my 981 Boxster GTS in Feb 2017 and did the trip again with my son later that year. Then in 2019 me and 5 friends in 4 Porsches did France (Arras), historic GP pits & grandstand at Reims, then stuttgart again then Nurburgring and Bruges. About 10 of us planned to do the trip this years again but over the last 12 months everyone had to drop out due to work or family commitments. However, I still went with a friend as my passenger. This time we drove all the way down through France to Avignon, then along the coast through Nice, Cannes and Monaco, to drive the F1 circuit. Like your video, we took a few wrong turns in the tunnels in Monaco but eventually sussed it out!! Oh, and like your visit, it was raining lightly. We then headed back towards Cannes and turned onto the Route Napoleon, up through the gorges and canyons - stunning - we were staying in Grenoble that night and because we’d spent most of the day heading to and around Monaco, the 2nd part of that stretch was done on the dark - we reached Grenoble about 11pm! Next day we passed Geneva as we were heading to go up the Sustenpasse - OMG!! Why have I never driven further to any of the passes before! We only planned 1 pass this time so we’re going again to do more in future. We stayed in stuttgart 2 nights and went to Porsche museum 1 day, and Mercedes museum 2nd day. We went to Bernkastel on the Mosel in Germany and used that as a base for 2 nights and went to Nurburgring, to the castle, indoor karting and finally did a lap, in the rain so took things easy! I can’t wait to do another Alpine pass roadtrip. Hopefully 8 or so of us in 2025. Your videos are so inspiring and cinematography and editing is incredible!! Keep up the fantastic work, a new happy subscriber here!! David

Thank you David. I really appreciate you taking time to type all of that. I can see you’re a true petrol head like me. You are right, we’re not that far. I’ve been in north pennies a couple of times. I might be going your way soon as there’s someone with a nice little car I would love to film living over there. I love Alps and will definitely go back. Next year I’m going to the Arctic Circle in Norway 😅 4500 miles, will be fun 🤪

Nice video, Susten, Grimsel and Furka are my most travelled mountain roads in the summer. I also liked how you kept your distance to the motorcycles when you were trying to chase them. Just two points: 1. eighter turn down the music or turn up the volume of your voice. 2. PLEASE (and as a rider i cant stress this enough) please stay on your lane!

Thanks. I only go outside my lane when I can see what’s coming. Otherwise it’s a gamble and not worth it. 👍🏻

Just finished Susten, Grimsel, Furka and Gotthard today. the backside of furka is pretty gnarly with the narrow roads and steep drop off. Did them early in the morning so Grimsel was a total loss as the fog was crazy dense. I think my favorite was Susten. I did Fluela and Oberalps yesterday and hitting Grossglockner, hochtennjoch, and timmelsjoch later this week... thanks for the great content! it inspired me to do this trip!

@@Andy-wp9zs that’s what I love to hear! I think Susten is also my favourite out of the three. I can wait to go back and do Grossglockner. I’m setting off for another adventure later this week which will take me to the Arctic Circle. Have a great time, safe travels! 👋

Did these three passes in June honestly it is just pure driving joy. This video is immense great content 🙏🏽. Definitely think Susten is the one for amazing views - with easy drive difficulty, grimsel goes up a notch for difficulty with great views from Hotel Restaurant Alpenrösli at the top and the furka pass if you keep going past the hotel the roads sometimes very narrow roads to test your nerves 😭😭 need to go back

Love the Susten & Grimsel passes and this makes me want to go back! If I remember correctly, the east side of the Furka is pretty narrow and bumpy compared to the west side.
