I have a confession...I don't live in Tokyo, but I've explored Tokyo enough to the point where it's driving me crazy! So, we set out to get some forest bathing into our routine while it's still warm. I didn't know I needed it so badly until we hiked up Nokogiriyama: a tall mountain full of forest medicine brought by both Kannon and Buddha. Explore with us and discover what nature can really do for you!

When I'm in nature (which I do as often as I can) my whole body starts to relax and I begin to feel connected to nature. It truly is healing.

I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and my family had a cottage built by my great grandfather in Hale, Michigan. We’d go up every summer to visit and along the way we would stop and spend a night in Frankenmuth! I was so excited when you mentioned Michigan’s “German town” since it was such a big part of my childhood! I love your videos and they continue to inspire me as I try to find my way through my mid 20s. Hopefully one day I’ll finally be able to visit Japan!

Hi, Kelly! I’m Aya, a Japanese girl who used to live in LA and now back in Tokyo for good. I have an American friend who loves Japan just like yourself and every time I watch your channel, it reminds me of her! I struggled so much when I moved to LA for the first time, because I couldn’t speak English at all and I feel like we have so much in common! I wish I could meet up with you and talk over coffee someday💜 Love your channel😊💖

I've been living in Seoul for 3 years, and any time I need to relax and recooperate, I head to Busan to enjoy the sea air and the beautiful nature. I can agree with you: nature is the best medicine. I'm so glad to see you so happy in this video; I can tell the difference from some of your videos in the past year, and it's amazing to see. I hope your happiness only continues to grow! :)

Being near the sea and breathing in that sea air is so incredibly therapeutic! I always feel lucky that I live so close to it and that I'm able to go there and just center myself whenever I need it. These mountains are absolutely stunning with the sea right there beside them

True nature is healing. Today with many people in cities get sick while those in rural areas are more healthy. I'm not sure all the reasons but even having plants is healing. You might want to get one as I didn't notice any. From planting to watching it grow has helped me. In fact you could grow your herbs you use for cooking and not only feel better but also eat better.

Kinda sorry to hear about the peanut allergy, though, those things they had on offer there really looked like something special. :) (I developed a shrimp allergy somewhere along the line, so I kinda knows how it feels when I see the tempura shrimp and stuff all over. :) The Japanese restaurants here in town rely heavily on shrimp cause it's really the best seafood around here. )
