Road Trip to Walnut Creek Cheese & Sugarcreek Ohio

Road trip to the Carlisle Inn and Walnut Creek Cheese grocery story in Ohio. One of the many fun day trips near Pittsburgh is approximately only 2 hours away! Dine at the Mudd Valley Cafe upstairs which has steps and an elevator for handicap accessible. We also drove past the World's Largest Cuckoo Clock at 100 N. Broadway Street, Sugarcreek, OH.

Walnut Creek Cheese is a great store. I love the fry pies. They are delicious and not overly sweet. Just right! My wife and I were there last week and I had to buy a few different ones, just to try. I'm just an hour away, so it's an easy trip. I can't wait for our next trip there.

I agree. We love that store too. The first time we walked in, we couldn't believe how nice it was inside. Gift shop with some really neat items, and bakery to the left with all the fry pies you can imagine. :) An upstairs eatery where people were having lunch from a bus trip. Then a creamery for ice cream. Then an area for Uncle Mike's Jerky in every flavor. Then we stopped by at the test kitchen, tried a hot German potato salad and they even gave us the recipe! Lastly, it's a very nicely decorated grocery store with something for everyone.

Yes they do. It's a grocery store, bakery, gift shop, and Mudd Valley Cafe upstairs.
