Very satisfying ride. And a long one, too. What you've done here is show a lot of what will eventually be the I-11 corridor through Arizona from what I understand (mainly the US-60/93 portions). That stretch of US-93 was fascinating with all the hills and mountains alone in the open spaces, and I'm not sure if those larger plants are choia cactus or not but I don't remember seeing that that big before (around the 32 minute mark or so). Great music choices on this ride, too.

Hi David. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I find it amazing that after all these years there are still some considerable stretches of 2-lane road along this route. I suppose we'll see I-11 eventually, but I'm not holding my breath. There is that one long stretch of freeway / divided highway through the hills, but it's gotten pretty rough over the years and needs some work. As a matter of fact, I noticed that many of Arizona's highways need work. For example I-40 across the northern part of the state has some very rough patches. The larger plants that you noticed around the 32 minute mark are Joshua trees. That stretch of road is notable for having a lot of Joshua trees.
