Haha! The footage around the 5:38 mark looks very familiar...I really enjoyed seeing the rest of the beat that we fished on that Friday. Great stuff as always. Best of luck to you and Kresten on the next adventure and let me know when Vol. 5 will be available.

Thanks Silvio. Very simple answer to that question: We fish to wary large Brown trout in very clear water and 5x tippet (5lbs) is fairly standard, if you don't follow with a high rod they will wrap you around a rod or branch and bust you off.
@mikefsher11 жыл бұрын
Cheers Enty! Must catch up soon and cast a rod ourselves...

Aloha Mike- Thanks again for taking my Dad and I out for a few days! We're already planning a return trip in 2014... It is great to see the footage of Kresten's epic battle with that brown after you described it to us but wouldn't he have been better off using my tactic of running down the middle of the rapids in pursuit of that brownie?
@mikefsher11 жыл бұрын
No worries David! You mean running down the middle after hooking him with a team of huge tungsten nymphs!! :-) Be great to see you again next year :)

I love your videos, you sure live the life Mike haha, I had a quick question though. What are those "wading shorts" that I see you guys wearing in your videos?
@clairewilliams48029 жыл бұрын
+Local Outdoors Mike didn't seem to reply, out fishing I suppose. They are just nylon shorts...often used by trampers, and quick drying
@deadtechnics8 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the reply! You wouldn't happen to know what they are wearing as leggings as well do you? Thanks again! :)
@mikefsher8 жыл бұрын
+Local Outdoors Just standard fishing/hiking shorts and i use cycling or sports 'compression' leggings. And yes, been away fishing a lot so sorry for the tardy reply
@deadtechnics8 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the reply and not a problem I can relate :)
