@@Kiki-reads so according to rep. Boebert, the gray wolf population has "increased" and are no longer endangered. She brought up other points but that one is basically the main one and that the "science" proves that gray wolfs should be removed. However, on opposition we have rep. Huffman who states that if the species is removed by a law, then it is not removed by science but by political fiat. They pointed out that just because there are more in numbers doesn't mean that they aren't endangered and they can call it a day. ESA brings in more factors that they have take into account like habitat destruction etc. the Biden administration actually said that congress should not be involve whether to remove a species or not but i guess they do have the power if they really want to. But yea people think the bill won't pass since the Biden administration isn't in favor of it but we won't know until they announced it.

Connor has been a vet tech in the past so staff always ask him first when medical issues come up. Nick’s family also has a farm with horses, long horn sheep etc. so he has some animal care experience of his own. The girls were likely needed at Alveus for the current ambassadors’ care.

I believe it was Space’s brother & a friend who took care of the animals with some training, and like 32 pages of instructions from Kayla lol. Staff had done all the meal & enrichment prep ahead of time. Poor Kayla was so worried for them she was eager to get back haha

Bit of a simplistic view. They aren't just "people" they are educated and certified animal carers. They studied/trained for years and have experience. They don't just give you a wolf from litter like with dogs, you have to have permits and it can't be a pet... then there's the enclosure which had to go through inspection, the meal plans and care plans need to be ready before the wolves are there. There's a lot that goes into it!
