Been following this rebuild since the start. Really coming together. Also, the way you respect your Grandmother and include her in your video says a lot about your character. 👍

Dave, I am utterly amazed at what you've accomplished. I can't wait for your next video. By the way, your grandmother is an elegant lady. You are indeed blessed!

I remember when I was a youngen I would not think about pulling apart a truck in my days, ( 1970's) was not very hard to modify and make it go fast, not now this kid is something else,... to take on a job such as you did and come out smelling like a rose. Great job Dave.

Dave, that's your truck. You busted your ass on it. You put your wheels on anyway you want. It's really come together & looks great. You can't even notice the dent in the cab from the bed now.

I discovered you and watched every one of these videos in one morning lol perfect videos showing how to put the mounts on the motor and can then lowering it down people like myself need to see like every aspect to really grasp it and these videos were really helpful you should post a video on paint mixing paint and some body work stuff. Even going in depth into the motors trans and everything

Lex Riordan - What are you his spokes person or what. The guy just asked in a polite way - if he would mind sharing the cost - it’s not like he said - hey tell me how much it cost you - so let him answer the question if he wants to other wise go give yourself a hand job it sure sounds like your fucking stressed out. And by the way how would you know if his ass hole is sore or not ? He did share the cost of the frame so maybe he might not mind sharing the final builds cost. Now let me be clear. It’s not something I would ask someone and I don’t really care how much it cost him. But there isn’t any reason for you being a dick about. Have a nice day.....and thanks

Looking good. I peeped a new 350 towing a fifth wheel several months ago and it was leveled with some black rims and it was not only the first ford I’ve wanted since 97 it was the first dually I’ve ever wanted. Would have liked to see the rear shocks changed and a mod to the plate for future removal but now I can stop worrying about it. I might suggest double stick foam for the insulation piece on the fender side, I think rigidity will be longevity for those not vibrating loose and both sides having adhesion would be good and I imaged that it would be easy to remove if necessary. Can’t wait to see how it turns out. I’d love to know in the end if you think the savings was big enough for the job. Looks great!

Awesome videos man. I'm not a pro or anything, but one comment would be to explain what you're going to do, show it, then recap. You did the opposite with the bed and showed the finished product before the time lapse. I noticed it in other videos as well. You do great work. Keep it up, man.

I'm glad bolting the bed back on solved your problems. Like I stated I've seen this on trucks that people installed flat beds on and spliced the harness. Looks awesome. Also nobody was mad about the wheels on backwards... we just thought it looked stupid. Haha

Ford needs to read skin tension through seat and adjust ambient light to counter current mood. Get in truck mad, sit down and the lights go pink, etc.

Dear Dave, Thanks for this series. I bought a 2018 F-450 this past year and really loved seeing and learning about all the systems you worked on for the project for your 2017. One bit of advice on the dually, try out the Centramatic wheel balancers. The smoothness throughout the range of speeds is impressive. Will an after market air intake void my warranty? I really liked the one you installed for all the reasons you made. Really nice work on the series, thanks again. Rick

Hi Grandma... Not sure I could have turned either of my Grandmothers loose with a crew cab long wheelbase truck to drive. They would have drug the rear tires through a ditch in about 10 minutes. As for you Dave, getting closer... Was hoping that completing the harness connections for the CAN BUS would solve those weird issues. Looking good...
