Beautiful video! But if frame is steel, wouldn't be better to have threaded bottom bracket instead of press-fit? Easier to maintanence in my opinion. Also for touring might be better to have more flexible choose of gears in mid-section of cassette instead putting smallest sprocket at size 9? But still, beautiful looking build!
@stopmetzagen4 жыл бұрын
This is not a touring groupset tho, this is the new campagnolo 13-speed gravel groupset aimed at performance. Also the biggest available ring up front is a 44T, but they also have a 38, 40 & 42.

Holy crap, 24.5 lbs without pedals. WTF? My Ridley X-Fire I use for gravel only weighs 17 lbs. with Shimano XTR pedals. I'm using the SRAM eTap road group from a few years ago, before AXS came out, set up 1X. That build is a tank.

droper seatpost was around 500g, and the frame was over 3000g, so yeah lol.

Gorgeous build, and love the channel! However the flat camera angle on the scales means we can't see the comma on the measurements. I know a chain doesn't weigh 2.46 kg, but this guessing game kind of spoils the viewing pleasure of the build itself. Seeing the values at the end would also be enough, in my opinion.

Campy's lockring only fits their weird hubs that have external threads for the centerlock lockring, they're using Tune hubs here, and Campy doesn't make a dropper post.

@@Kolomy24 i see now, look: "With a maximum load capacity of 165kg, this model is therefore ideally suited as a reliable travel companion for long tours with a lot of luggage." But then holy hell who would ever take that much stuff on a bike trip damn..
@theobuzat90914 жыл бұрын
@@maciejzielinski4033 you just need a 90kg rider and 50kilos of luggages, these including what you eat, where you sleep, bike parts and hygene so.....not that suprising really. And I dont see why the weight of a bike matters that much, I'm mean here maybe but the argument of my bike is lighter than this disk brake bike that weights 8.0kg....8.0kg vs 6.8 is 1.2kg maybe you could loose that weight in you belly, you see what I mean (this part of the comment is not meant for you Maciej, just for the ones who say this kinda of things on the comments)

What's the point of being so concerned with weight on an aluminum bike? The frame is incredibly heavy! So why bother weighing the other components at all?
@81caasi4 жыл бұрын
extra information. Why not..

It's steel, not aluminium. Came out very heavy anyway for the components used..

A dropper post on any bike with a drop bar is nothing more than the latest marketing gimmick. How stupid!
@fradd40454 жыл бұрын
have you tried it ?
@laurentgeyer76744 жыл бұрын
I much prefer drop bars on a go anywhere bike, and if you've ever taken one on single track you'd probably appreciate being able to drop the post on technical descents. Not sure if I could be bothered with the weight penalty when a skewered seat collar would do, but I do see the appeal of being able to drop the post on a whim, without having to stop.
