Ronnie is a genius. He knows by reacting to you guys when he drops new songs, that the reviewers who may not normally watch his stuff will review it just to get the attentuon from his stream which will also put more promotion into his song. He's smart.
@TankTheTech2 жыл бұрын
100%. A lot of artists check out reactions, but he's one of the only ones that sits on stream and checks them all out. To be fair, I think a lot of people, including myself, would still be reacting to FIR even if he wasn't checking them out.

To your ending point, I particularly like it when bands have similar sounding parts in multiple songs. It makes it feel like I'm really paying attention and noticing a pattern when I make that connection.

I feel like I saw another vid of yours where you talked about people complaining about the commentary on the gear. I get it, people don't wanna hear the same stuff about the gear over and over again unless they do like some kinda crazy major switchup of the gear. Same goes for the vocal coaches that do reactions. Unless the vocalist is doing something that they don't typically do, I think it'll be p repetitive. But I mean that's kinda your thing and that's what makes your channel different and (imo) better than just the typical, Joe Schmoe reaction channel. Whichever you wanna do man. I support it. Your channel is still dope. I'm already sub'd
@TankTheTech2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I totally get gear talk about the same kind of stuff can get monotonous at times, but hey... Like you said, kinda my thing. But for this one, it was fun to just try and be into the video and not worry about anything. Haha
@xraysteve2 жыл бұрын
Vocal coaches…I have a love hate relationship with them. They have a wealth of information to share. If they pause 20 times to share that info, fine. But for god’s sake, stop trying to harmonize or hit the same not with the singer in the video. I will exit a reaction before their note is finished. Likewise, and this happened ten minutes ago for me, if a reactor is doing a live reaction but keeps talking to the chat, I’m done. Tank, you do great work. No complaints from me. I don’t watch every reaction you do but what I have watched, I enjoy. ✌🏻

Bands have always used formulas, especially when they find the one that works for them. Why do you think you can recognize bands, cause they tend to sound like themselves. I for one enjoy hearing like songs sometimes from bands, it's part of why I listen to them. Anyways enough ranting on to the reaction. Glad you went back to headbang and enjoyed your reaction just like your last reaction to Zombified. This song had a killer chorus and another awesome breakdown. I get a notification that there's a new FiR tune (or any new metal tune I'm into for that note), I come here with a whiskey to listen to it for the first time. This is the way. Didn't disappoint FiR is one of the few bands that I have to listen to a song multiple times over to scratch that itch and figure out out how they produce such exceptional sound quality (e.g. that final chorus boost and Ronnie's subtle vocal style changes throughout based on the era represented). It's great stuff for audio nerds. Seriously hoping Alleviate put out their next jam soon. 'Broken' was just too much awesome. See you back here when that comes out Tank!

OK. I am an older punk rock guy. I was listening to shit by Epitaph when I was an early teen in the 90's. I used to go to Hot Topic to by their samplers and EP's when that shit was not cool, I was an outcast for dying my hair, and I was looked at differently for having tattoos and piercings in high school. Now days that shit is the norm, and Hot Topics sells mainly trendy and anime things. My question is when did Epitaph start accruing the budget to make these kinds of videos, and how did bands like Falling In Reverse get this much exposure? I just found out about this band maybe a month ago, and I am shocked by how good ALL of their songs are from over the years. Not only are they good, but they also have meaning as well. The songs are real, not manufactured. I think the first time I heard of them was from TheDoo playing a requested song he learned on the spot. I believe it was Sexy Drug. I didn't even pay attention to the band name or really the song, because TheDoo was dooing his thing 😏. But, ever since I found out about their music and lyrics from I believe it was Alex Hefner, their songs have been dominating my playlist at work for the last 3-4 weeks. Their videos are like mini movies. I don't want to put down the rest of the band. That being said, it seems like everything stems from Ronnie Radke. That's what it seems like, at least. 💯
