We held this video back for 3 months because we really wanted to put this suspension system to the test. Wow are we impressed!!! Have you done an upgrade to your rig that made all the difference to your camping or travel experience?

We love our slipper spring setup on our rig it definitely helps save some of the wear and tear on the RV. Great job showing the install of the slipper spring system from Roadmaster!

That was a lot of work, Great job guys! We recently learned that Rockwood /Flagstaff stopped using torsion suspension on all fifth wheels and switched to a Lippert slipper roller system for better ride quality. With the heavier weights of the fifth wheels, the torsion suspension didn't have enough travel for ideal ride quality.

Great, we just came back on a cross-country trip and this is what I want to install on ours North Point, but I'm not sure if I want to do the full one or just install the shocks.

That was a big decision for us, we’re glad we went with the full system! It really changes the game on travel days.

@campinwiththeconfers I would love to do the full one but I don't know if I can do it by myself, and to take it to a shop will probably charge me as much as the system costs.

Great job. I could never do something like that. Did the springs need replaced or was it just an up grade for better ride. Also does it make it safer to pull.

Nothing was broken but we had a ton of miles on those sprints. The install wasn’t super difficult just time consuming. It’s not necessarily safer but it is much smoother and puts less stress on the frame.

What were your axle rating, your trailers GVWR and which lb kit did you go with?

We have the Dexter 4400 lb axels. We went with the 5k kit with shocks.

@ we have the 5200 axles and are debating between the 6000 and 7000 kit, wish they had a 6500 kit. Are you going to go to the Media Day at the Florida RV super show?
