So glad I had Damien install my system (twice!) B2B charger and increased capacity cabling has made such a difference. The lithium has literally changed my on board life!

Some people seem to be confused by exactly what's going on here. On the display, when Damian starts the engine, 13.5V (top right) is the voltage at the leisure battery, +15.6A is the current / charge going into the leisure battery. When Damian turns on the fridge, the voltage stays at 13.5V and the current going into the battery drops to +5.00A. The difference - more than 10 Amps - is what the fridge is using. When the battery-to-battery charger and new wiring has been installed, the display shows in the region of 13.9V at the leisure battery, +50 Amps going into the leisure battery and 13.1V at the starter battery (bottom right). The point of the exercise is to show what a difference a battery-to-battery charger and appropriate cable make.

Very good. Could you do a video on the votronic set up explaining solar computer s and the battery computer 200s with smart shunt explaining the inputs on each of this make sense. There is no explanation on KZbin in English on the most of the votronic set ups. Thanks Pat.

I'll be taking delivery of a brand new Iveco Daily in the new year that I'll be converting into an off grid camper. I obviously need to maximise engine charging as well as adding some solar and it's good to find someone knowledgeable so local. I was just wondering, do I still need the dealer to disable the smart charging when going this battery to battery route?
