Roadrunner Signed Nickleback. This band is really not the same as other bands that do this type of music. Yeah they all have choruses and breakdowns, but the lead singer and the way the screamer sounds is what sets them apart.

They stick out? Must I refer you to bands like Pierce The Veil, I See Stars, Alesana, and Blessthefall? It's sad that I know these bands too but this is all I hear nowadays. What makes them stick out? Yes I do listen to Metalcore, the good Metalcore (Unearth, Killswitch Engage, Dirge Within, etc.) Just to name a few, I listen to anything dude. As long as it's good and keeps me entertained and gets my adrenaline going. This band however is just like every other band out there.

I don't see why you're mentioning Nickeback.. both have a completely different style I'm not a fan of Nickelback but at least they have their own sound, they brought something new in their period, they were not copying other bands lamely. now for replying your comment, it's not that little difference with the vocals (if there's really a difference) that would make 'em standing out of the bunch, we're into metal, not pop! vocals are secondary, it's the instruments which makes you unique or not.

I just listed those bands to show you that At The Skylines is no where near unique. Again I have to ask, what makes At The Skylines unique? Agreed that this band does not belong with Roadrunner, perhaps Victory Records would be better for them.
