@@RoadtoFinnish Well, out of the list you have, Microsoft and Google stands out to me the most! However, I'm also interested in Ericsson and Dassault Systemes. I really want to work in a tech company that has a strong branch built in Europe and worldwide:)

Thats awesome! I would naturally recommend that you also check out positions from Nokia. Since they sold their mobile branch to Microsoft they've focused a lot on 5G, robotics and other super cool stuff.

Hi oliver. What are chances of getting job after studying masters in environmental sciences, environmental engineering?
@RoadtoFinnish2 жыл бұрын
Posting the same answer here as to your other question in another video: Its really hard to say. I have not looked into this field myself so i cant really name any titles or example career paths. However, im sure that there are plenty of opportunities in Finland. Finland is one of the leading countries in environmental sciences and technologies so im sure you will find interesting jobs here - i just cant name any because i dont know the field well enough.

kiitos oliver I was expecting these info specially during this tough time. Every one is strugling. I have 2 questions please. If you moved to another city to visit a friend for 2 months or, work in summer seasonal job, what you should tell DVV about your permenant addres during this time. 2nd question, lets suppose I want to take advanced training in specific field. Are there any training for 3 months (during summer vacation)?? Nahdan
@RoadtoFinnish4 жыл бұрын
Hey Nahdan and thanks for the interesting questions! People are indeed struggling with these times. And there no way to know when things are going to get better. Anyways, to your questions. As always, please make sure to do your own due diligence as i might not be correct 100% of times. About a temporary move to another city. The DVV states the following on their website: "According to Finnish legislation, you must always submit a notification of move if you move permanently into a new home _or if your temporary stay at another address is longer than three months_." (Source: dvv.fi/en/moving) So according to this you do not have to register a temporary address if you are going to live there for less than 3 months. I would assume that this case involves you either sublenting your permanent place or simply leaving it empty for the time period? About your question regarding advanced training - this depends on what kind of training we are talking about. For example, universities in Finland offer what is called Open University courses. These are basically normal university courses but they are open for anyone. They cost a bit to participate in (usually 20-30€ per course) but are taught by the same professors with the same curriculum as if you were studying at the university. These open university courses can be a great way for you to take advanced courses in a variety of topics. There are also other places where you can take a variety of courses but i would need to know more about what kind of training you are looking for. Hope these get you started 👍

Hello! Is there any hope finding work in Finland if you are studying international relations or European studies?
@RoadtoFinnish3 жыл бұрын
Hey Péter and thanks for the question. Im sure that there are plenty of opportunities if you have a degree in international relations. Cant name anything out of the top of my head but its quite logical to think that if a degree is taught by a school in Finland, there has to also exist career opportunities. The question about what kind of jobs and where to find them always depend on the degree itself.

Can you please make a video on best bachelor degree to study in Finland for international students ? For job prospects and how Finland is ranking on employment for international students in comparison of Germany and France ?

Hey and thanks for the great questions. What specifically about bachelor's studies are you interested in? This is a super wide topic and i could make a hundred videos about it. About jobs, im actually going to release a bunch of job related videos during the spring and summer 2021. Hi Oliver! Thanks for all this highly educative videos. I wanted to ask you about the possibility of getting a job before starting your studies in Finland, is it possible? I'm about to graduate in law and I want to aplly for an LL.M in Helsinki, problem is that if I get admitted the only way I could sustain myself over there is by working. The sector in which I work does not matter to me, work is work. If you know something about that, I'd really appreciate it!

please tell mba graduate demand in finland and monthly salary
@RoadtoFinnish3 жыл бұрын
Yes, there is always demand for business graduates in Finland. Please note that your salary depends on a thousand details and there is no point in looking at median or average salaries as they do not tell you what you will be paid. However, if you want a reference, in 2022, the starting salary recommendation (for business graduates) in the private sector was 3550 to 3800 euros a month, in permanent and non-managerial positions corresponding education, without long-term relevant work experience acquired during studies. Sir I'm frome pakistan,and I'm done BS Biochemist (4 year degree program)I my GPA is 3 our of 4 Can I get admission in finland for Master degree in molecular biology?
@RoadtoFinnish4 жыл бұрын
Hey and thanks for the question! First of all, please call me Oliver. We Finns like to keep things quite informal 👍. To your question: its impossible for me to say how possible it is for you to get admitted to study a Master's in Finland. This is because i have no experience in processing university applications. Also, please take into account that the minimum admission requirements in Finland depend on each university and their degree programme. So there are no universal admission requirements. Having said that, its seems that you have good academic records so i would definitely recommend that you try and apply to a Finnish university. If you dont know how this process works, please watch my videos on applying to study in Finland from here: kzbin.info/aero/PLz4mqtlQagDwFSUbGnaC22qZeWHqu0pJh
