I cried very hard because I was there a while ago and it’s the biggest memory of my life I made 4 new friend there and they are now my best friends we are a little friends group and everyday we went on our favorite ride everyday I can’t thank you enough for making this it made my day and brung back memory’s I but honestly did I I did the magic quest but to think of how amazing time I had the story time was so cute we ate at the restaurants that had windows with the view of the waterpark I know this might be dramatic but it’s honestly AMAZING

I went here a while back with my dad and my brother I was so young to realize but once we got there I was so caught up in the fun and cool things that I didn’t spend much of the time with my dad, I know my dad wanted to spend time with us but we were off running around being kids, I met a friend there I don’t even remember her name but I tried to hook her single mom up with my dad who is also single :) I was just a kid having fun, just cherish the moments with your family before they are gone.

It is a very fun place, the waterslides are amazing. I remeber when I was about five, I would go to the arcade where they still spat out tickets. I would play a hammer game where you had to hit it just right, I was amazing. The jackpot was 1000 tickets. I won multiple times for me, and other kids. I still love everything about it, the magi quest is fun. And every time I went I mad atleast 3 friends, it was fun. The animatronics are nice, the rooms are amazing. Especially if your on the top floor, the view is exquisite. I just can't get enough of this place, the restaurant are also amazing. And the lodge wood firegrils Mac n cheese is just amazing. I remember going to the sweetery, and getting some good fudge. The 3D games were fun..it's overall an amazing place, and if you can. You should definitely go!

Dean, it would not surprise me if Great Wolf Lodge got inspired from the Wilderness Lodge at the Dells! The waterpark is absolutely amazing! I’m surprised Disney hasn’t done an indoor waterpark at all. Here’s the thing about the animatronic show: it had potential, but there were production issues with it that still diminish it from being comparable to Disney. However, I’m absolutely convinced that if they really put an effort in the quality for those shows and added to the waterpark, they could really compete with Disney!

I’ve been to that location many times since I was a little girl, we will be trying out the one in Virginia next time we go since they’re both about the same distance, the slap tail pond is still taller then me to this day and I’m in my last year of being a pre-teen

You’ll have a great time...we only stayed one night, too, but if you arrive at 1 PM the day you check-in, you can get your water park passes right then, even if your room isn’t ready yet! Great question! The 2 family raft rides actually have different height requirements: River Canyon Run is 42” while Howlin’ Tornado is 48”. Hope that helps!

Yes, from what I understand they still do that bedtime story at the clock tower! Not sure if they temporarily stopped doing it because of the virus. The best thing to do is to call the hotel and ask.

No problem at all! We got the standard family room suite at a discount price. Initially, the price was around $200.00/night, water park admission included for 2 adults, but we got it through GroupOn at around $100/night. We did have to spend money on an extra water park passes, so in the end, we spent just over $200.00 for a family of 5. If you sign up on their website, they will email you special deals; just last week, they have a $99/night if you reserve for certain dates. Hope that helps!

That is a long trip, for certain! If your dad ever makes that trip, I would suggest staying for about 3-4 days. There are plenty of other attractions around, and you can always hit the water park during your entire stay.
