Great Video Rob. I know the area quite well and my goodness has it come up the world. It was a no go area when I was a lad. I went to school in Central Manchester and attended many concerts given by the Halle orchestra in my youth. I was born and bred in Bolton 12 miles North, which is where the history of my brand Duckwroth Prestex comes from. In fact, my after sales service centre is there now in Bolton town centre. Manchester is truly a great place. Keep up the interesting and good work. And thanks for giving a big shout out to my blue fume Verimatic. Kind regards, Neil Duckworth

Me and 2 of my friends used to work part time after school in that Royal mill back in 1975/76 making those antique looking wooden candelabra fittings that were popular in pubs of that era. Wow has it changed from being a hive of activity covering every imaginable fabrication and manufacturing business to whatever it is today. Thanx for putting Victorian Mcr back on the map Rob.

So much respect for your knowledge and the work you must put in to each video …. A refreshing change from other videos where they say …. I think … or I’m not sure ……

40 years ago Ancoats was also an area where people did not go by choice.

Beautiful restoration/re-purpose of the church. How are the acoustics? (Sometimes it's difficult to know from a video)

They've done an outstanding job...but you have to hear it in person to appreciate it!
