Thanks for this video Austin. I still remembered that I first stumbled upon your videos with the Crane Creek Bridge construction years ago. In that video, they were building out the work trestle. It is so crazy that in this video, they removed the work trestle and are now adding the tracks.

That's wild that they were still using the pillars that Henry Flagler watched being constructed. Great update, Austin!

Henry Flagler would have been dead for about a decade when those bridges were built, but still very old.

That was my instant reaction as well to seeing them unobstructed by the temporary work trestles. Very precision-looking and neat as a pin. Once all the work is done along the right-of-way where the double-tracking, bridge replacements and realignment have been done to prepare for Brightline's trains, the entire FEC mainline north of Palm Beach to where the westward extension to Orlando branches off should be very presentable and smart-looking indeed.

All the new bridges are beautiful, congratulations bright lines. But I am disappointed that the track work between Coco and West Palm Beach still requires a lot of work and it’s gonna be a long time before Brightline is ready to start the new run from Orlando to Miami. I keep mentioning that I’m old I can’t wait forever, I’m excited for bright lines. I want to say I live in Holliday Florida I could drive over there to see the work, but there’s no way I could possibly see the kind of views that you get with your video and your drone and how much I appreciate the work you put into your video work as I’m sure everybody that watches your video appreciates, thank you

I can answer my own question-a careful review of the video shows a wire saw on the small barges-at both Eau Gallie and Sebastian River.

Why rebuild a level crossing for. Wouldn't it have been better to remove the crossing all together.

Local governments do not want any of the crossings closed

Grade crossing removals through over/underpasses need more cost, sometimes a couple million per site, introduce grading challenges for the rail, and could easily double or triple cost for all this. Maybe more. Closing crossings entirely annoys locals.
