Dogs eat grass when they have an upset tummy already. It helps them, and they know it as instinct. Sometime they use it as fiber to take things 'up', and sometimes they use it as fiber to help digestion.
@Mari-xp8qm2 жыл бұрын
When acid builds up in our own stomachs, people often take an antacid knowing they'll feel better soon. In dogs, eating grass may have the same effect in acting as a 'natural antacid'. Most dogs appear to feel better after eating grass, but this relief is often temporary as most dogs vomit afterwards

Yeah, it’s best to allow dogs to eat grass. We used to have five dogs and they all ate it at times. We just figured they had some nutrient deficiency and the grass was providing what they needed.
@lawrencejohnson91542 жыл бұрын
It's a myth grass is an antacid for dogs but they do eat it when they have a gut issue. It has no nutrients or benefits other than a dog trying to vomit, to clear their stomach of hopefully whatever is causing the discomfort. If a dog continues to eat grass over a period of time then a vet should be consulted.

We have the same fridge - took it on a dozen camping trips so far this year and it's a game changer from an ice cooler. You may want to consider plugging it into a portable battery and then plugging the battery into your car's 12V. Also note that the it will fluctuate +/- 2 or 3 degrees. Keeping a fridge thermometer in there is useful too. I hope you get better soon.

Plug your fridge into your power station and your power station into your car. Also use your solar panel so you're not killing your battery during the day and have a way to charge your power station!! Awesome score on free fridge!! Usually there is a voltage drop in the rear outlet and your compressor won't kick on right. Power station will supply clean power you want for the fridge.

For a cold, the best out there that works wonders is Oscillococcinum. It's all natural and you can take it anytime. I've had my portable fridge for two years and love it. When driving long distance, it's plugged in to the 12vdc outlet in the car, when the car is off I use my Jackery solar gen to power it so food stays cold. If you leave yours plugged into the 12vdc car plug, just be sure that car outlet is not on all the time when the car is off or the car battery will not start the next time. Hope you feel better, your smile is amazing but shines better when you're all well. Take care Maria and stay safe.

Although, you may have knowledge of this, I am not sure, so I hope this will be helpful to you, others or someone. Keep a Extra working cellphone with you or in your vehicle. Maybe you already have a hundred comments that say this already, but you will need a battery like a goal zero or jackary to power that guy. Suggest something along the line of 1000 watt hours. Driving a lot will keep the battery charged using that car outlet. IIf you don’t drive lots then you will need either a charging connection to your car battery/alternator or some solar panels. You’ll love the fridge. I always hated floating, water logged food when camping.

This is going to change your car camping experience forever! I’m so excited for you! Umm. That’s not going to work plugged into your 12V in your car because when your car is off it’ll be off. If it’s an “always on” 12V source then it’ll work but it will drain your battery. You’ll need to hook this up to a battery pack eventually. Lol, those are the same eggs I buy. Vital farms. So damn expensive but so good. Worth the money.

Used to camp in the same generation Subaru Outback as yours [‘05 & ‘06]. Could fit a twin size mattress between the inner wheel arches which left little storage areas either side of mattress down by tailgate. Would also use floor behind front seats and the entire passenger seat and foot area for storage since i was literally solo w/ no pet or companion. It was great and i miss it a lot! These vids bring back awesome memories!! Love that you’ve upgraded to a Defender w/ pop up!! Keep up the good work, have fun, and be safe! ⛰️ 🏝️ 🌲 🌳 🚙

I’m so glad you purchased this so I have information for my car camping trips planned for 2023-2025. I wanna get a car refrigerator soon. My 2003 Subaru “Little Baby” Baja has a standard Igloo cooler in the covered bed. However the ice bag method is messy. I’m also looking at replacing my 20 year old Ru. I’ve had her the whole time and she’s quite the worker bee. Recently it became obvious there are major repair issues in the several thousands of dollars. So it is time to upgrade my rig too. My Westie Maltese mix dog Whitley loves traveling but the sleeping arrangement is tight. Another reason to upgrade as well.

I just acquired my Bougerv dual zone. It fit perfectly in my '19 Outback. Fortunately I already had a slider built in so I can drag mine out just far enough to open the lid fully. What I do for powered is plug it into my Bluetti and the Bluetti into the car. Since the rear outlet switches off with the ignition I have sustained power during a road trip.
