Maria, I'm so sorry that you have lost your best friend. 😢 I feel like I've gotten to know you and Blue through watching your videos. I saw the title "In Loving Memory of Blue" show up after I watched another video and knew what that meant. I'd bet a lot of people watching your videos will also take this pretty hard. I am sitting here crying as I type this. It's so obvious the love you have for your sweet pups and how well you have taken care of them. All dogs should have the attention that you've always paid to Bubby. He was so very lucky to have you. I don't think any words I can say will take away the sadness you're feeling right now, but I wanted to let you know people care about you and what you're going through. Blue will be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge. I'm sincerely sorry for your loss.

Blue certainly touched all our lives. He was special! I’m going to suggest, without any approval, that we memorialize Blue by donating to the Underdog rescue center out in the Four Corners. That’s where Maria helped them a while back in her Rescue 500 dogs videos.

I'm so sorry for your loss! I am 65 years old and I've had a dog since i was about 4 years old. That's a lot of dogs and it never, ever gets easier. It's always heart breaking and a great loss. Try and remember all the joy you brought to each other and what a great life and adventure you gave him, as well as the lessons he taught you! Blue was loved and will be missed by all of us. I couldn't help cry when I saw this... I lost my 10 year old Labrador, Scout, about two years ago. It was the most painful thing for our family to deal with for a long time. I buried him in my back yard and made a nice grave for him. Every spring beautiful flowers grow in a perfect circle around where his rests. Never before were there flowers there and nobody planted any either. I know it is a sign of God telling me he is with him and all is fine! I do believe we will see our beloved pets in the afterlife.

As a highly responsible breeder of miniature Australian Shepherds (we have 18 of these awesome creatures), my heart truly goes out to you. 8.5 years is much too little time to have been able to spend with Blue but it is apparent the time was spent very, very well. While he can never be replaced, I do very much hope you'll find room in your heart for another Aussie, at some point. This was very hard for me to watch because I, like so many others, know this kind of grief all too well. The places you went, the cuddles you had, the memories you both constructed...seeing him wherever you are, now, while knowing only his spirit is there and longing for his physical body...it is incredibly difficult. The thing about dogs is; even after they pass, they are still with us and follow us everywhere. When we are overwhelmed with sadness, and our eyes are filled with tears, sometimes we can see them faintly in our peripheral vision, moving about, wondering why we are sad!

My Dad always told us the only way not to hurt when you lose a dog that you love is not to have them to begin with. He always said and that is not an option. You were blessed to have him.

I straight up cried when I saw the alert to this post. I am so very sorry for your loss. It’s been six years since I lost my male GSD and seven months since losing my female GSD. I understand the pain. You gave Blue such an amazing life. Most dogs don’t get to spend every waking hour with their human like Blue did. ❤

RIP Bub. Blue was an amazing boy. Hes gone but never forgot. I had to put my poor little girl down last month. We dont deserve these 4 legged beauties.. my wife surprised me on friday with a pocket bully puppy. I named her Pickles. I know it seems to early and nothing will ever replace Blue. You should consider getting a puppy in the next month or two. They really help!! Sending lots of love to you kiddo. Keep your chin up. The sun always rises in the morning x RIP Blue
