Just found out they're making a film about you called Dumb Money. I hope they've been discussing it with you (can't imagine they haven't). In all honesty you've always seemed like an authentic and genuine guy with some brilliant insight into security analysis. I hope they do you justice, but I worry about some effects of the film: I worry either it'll sensationalize or mythologize what you do or what you've done. I also worry it'll spark young inexperienced folk to try dangerous trading ideas (par for the course so don't sweat it; they already do that with crypto). Lastly as someone who's adopted your methodology, to some success, I worry if it'll dilute your strategy with others trying this deep value method. Conversely it could be good for momentum.

What matters is finding a model that works for you and what metrics are important are within that. Maybe discounted cash flows do it for you, maybe they dont... find your own style

What are your thoughts on backtesting and the use of indicators? I feel that they are somewhat a waste of time as they are lagging, don’t take into account macro factors such news and announcements, black swans etc.and provide false confidence, I feel that price action is key, but wouldn’t mind some suggestions from you. Lastly, would you agree that short term share price fluctuations are heavily influenced by emotions but fundamentals will always rise above when it comes to long-term value? Btw, congrats on GME! Really Good play! I got in a little late , 152 @ $113 but scaled out most positions during the rally last Thursday at $430, so still did pretty good with a little bit of luck lol. 🚀🚀

For example: If you get 2 times return compared to your original investment amount, then it is a 2-bagger stock. If you get 4 times return compared to your original investment, then it is a 4-bagger stock. And obviously, the higher the bagger, the better it is.
