Roaring Red Deer Stag, Early Morning Mist. But no hinds?..

Nothing happening over Burley over the weekend, but this morning could hear a lone stag bellowing. Big weather change this week so hopefully we could see some action. Wonderful video as always.

Beautiful start of the day with the mist, the roaring stag. A few other beautiful stags, it seems to be a quiet rut, but hopefully more hinds will show up in a few days and more action will follow. I enjoyed watching and listening to this video😊 Greetings Agnes

Glad you enjoyed it. Was a great day despite the Rut not quite the standard of previous years. Makes me thankful I witnessed the last few years Ruts. But hey who knows what next week will bring. 👍🦌🦌👍

Great video Mark . I found a herd of Hinds in the Woods with a solitary guard Stag. They were eating tree leaves but mostly ground feeding, mostly youngsters, more of a Kindergarten crossing the cycle path

Thanks Mark. It is a different Rut this year. Think the lack of acorns are having a greater effect than we realise. Fingers crossed things may improve! One can only hope. Glad you have a sighting, quite rare this rut I think. 👍🦌🦌👍
