I only tried roasting them once and didn't like it but I wasn't using the slow cooker. Those are beautiful beets.

I like pickled beets the best, but like this in the slow cooker is good as well and a lot healthier, its easy enough to do that is for sure.

Everything homegrown is good.... Beet leaves are good, the small one in salads and the big ones are better cooked IMO but I have used them for wraps.

I have never had beets in a can, so no idea. If they are pickled in vinegar then no, but I did a video on that not long ago, bottled beets,

Beets from the slow cooker way better than canned beets from the grocery store, don't have a slow cooker here, think I'll research buying me one, from what i see they're very versatile and you can cook so many foods, while you do other chores!

I love using the slow cooker, just add everything and walk away, it just needs lots of time so you have to plan ahead.
